In 2005 both Kendyl and Jamison, being little babes at 10 and 12 years old, would frequently visit Mrs. Tee house. Kendyl’s mother was very good friends with Mrs. Tee and she also had a son by the name of Joseph, which Jamison befriended a while earlier. One day they would find themselves visiting Mrs. Tee’s house simultaneously and make the first interaction of a lifetime. Joseph being the kind person he is, proceeded to introduce the young grasshoppers to one another with the idea that they could all play together. Lord knows Kendyl was a little tom boy so she fit right in. They proceeded outside to play their hearts out until Kendyl falls and cuts her ankle. Joseph tried to bandage the cut, but Jamison noticed Joseph stacking band-aid after band-aid and swooped in to save the day with a neat patch. They finished playing their little hearts out and it was a while before the two ever saw each other again. Surprisingly they attended the same high school, but rarely crossed paths, not aware of who they really were. Time passed, and they both were blessed with scholarships to attend The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Kendyl was a sophomore by the time Jamison enrolled, nevertheless, when they did cross paths, let’s just say he had her attention. Although, Kendyl’s major was Math/Computer Science, she would drive down to the Ag building to visit her friend Tiffany (See Jamison), making it her business to always speak to him with the biggest smile. He would give her the biggest smile and wave but never pursued, so she felt as if, “maybe he's not interested.” Little did she know, he thought she was incredibly beautiful but felt as she did. Years went by and Brandon (The Best Man) and Kendyl were talking on social media one day, so she just spits it out, "I like your best friend but don't tell him", in hopes of him telling Jamison lol. Jamison, to this day, claims that Brandon never told him but shortly after Kendyl receives a random message from Jamison. At that time Jamison was in graduate school at The University of Arkansas, and Kendyl had entered the workforce in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Neither of them knew that they previously met before, until Jamison asked if Kendyl knew Joseph and if she remembered him fixing the cut on her ankle which of course she could recall, talking about everything coming full circle. Nevertheless, the bond grew stronger, and the love grew longer, so long that the three and a half hour distance to Fayetteville could not keep them away from one another. They saw each other almost every weekend and they have been rolling strong since. He stole her heart then and here they are a few years later, for her to steal his last name.
