In true older sister fashion, Hailey wrote the first half this this section. "Hailey Margetta is Jamie's older and only sister. She is the gifter of hand me down clothes, aunt to Sir Tater, Jamie's chauffeur, her provider of house plants, workout buddy, banker, and so much more. She refuses to be called a matron of honor even though she is married because it sounds old." Jamie would add she is a built in best friend, and confidant, a fierce advocate and protector, comedic relief, and wonderful partner in crime. I love you immensely.

Carla & Jamie met on the first day of kindergarten when Carla told Jamie she had a cool last name. If you know Jamie, you've heard about Carla- the two have been inseparable for over twenty years. They have very different personalities but maintain an unbreakable level of friendship. There is not a year of my life that doesn’t have a memory of you in it. Her and Jamie met in college where they were both relegated to the kitchen for missing sorority recruitment training and have been friends ever since! Alex & Jamie met in 2015 when they started a research job on the same day and quickly became friends. Everyone needs an Alex in their lives! I’m so grateful for our years of friendship. You are kind, adventurous, an amazing cook & a wonderful friend. Jamie was blessed to meet Michael when him and Alex started dating. Jamie and Michael quickly realized they are thinking the same thing roughly 99% of the time and now spend hours sending each other paragraph length texts, sharing books & gossiping about the royals. I love you both dearly!

Taylor is a badass Nurse Practitioner (soon to be Doctor) who has been at the core of Austin's friend group since college (Austin making late-night pancakes helped). She is one of the few people who Austin listens to when he is being stubborn while also being supportive of Austin's decisions. She isn't afraid to bring the party either (so long as there is tequila involved).
Michael Peterson

Mike ("Mochael") Peterson is a 5'5" Rogue whose thieving skills and aggressive play style get him into trouble more often than needed. Since meeting Austin in college, Mike has been the host for numerous game nights (losing to Austin in Catan countless times) as well as being one of Austin's go-to gaming partners. You will likely see him trying to dance to Rasputin on the dance floor.
Kevin Bong

Kevin and Austin first met in the investment group during college before becoming roommates after college leading to numerous philosophical discussions and weight lifting sessions. Kevin is the strongest (physically) and one of the most intelligent people Austin knows while also being a big foodie who is an awesome cook and always knows the best restaurant nearby.

Hunter and Austin met in college, where "Handy Man Huss" always had the best Halloween costumes and giggles. All that being said, Huss is a kind, gentle giant who will drink just about anyone under the table while winning every sports gambling bet with ease.

Carson and Austin met in college and were roommates for two years that were filled with numerous movie quotes and Mark Wahlberg references. Carson does not lack for witty comments and has always been the voice of reason within Austin's group of college friends while still keeping it fun.
Zachary Schwieso

Zack and Austin met freshman year of college while playing too many video games (if there is such a thing) before being roommates for two years. Zack has always been an indispensable friend who has been there for Austin even when it has been inconvenient and has been a great time the rest of the time.
Taylor Laabs

Taylor is a lifelong friend of Austin's going back to pre-school where he converted Austin into a Packer fan. Taylor and his family host Austin every year at Green Bay Packer Training Camp including hosting Jamie 2 years ago. It goes without saying that Taylor and Austin can rely on their friendship no matter how much time has passed or what life changes have occurred.

Ian is a larger-than-life personality who loves to dance (he will be front and center on the dance floor) and pull everyone into his cheeky shenanigans. Austin and Ian met while playing football together in high school and spent many nights staying up until 4 AM eating frozen pizzas and cookies while playing NHL ("CHEL").
