Very close to the JW Marriott, the Austin Marriott Downtown is also in the heart of downtown Austin and is 1 mile away from the French Legation. This hotel is walkable to the Congress Bridge with a view of the river.

East Austin Hotel

The East Austin Hotel is located on East 6th street and is walkable to the French Legation and LoLo wine bar, where our after party will be held. This hotel is well-suited for those who are wanting to be close to lots of fun restaurants and bars, but it is a smaller hotel in a louder area of town.

Carpenter Hotel

This is one of Lauren and James' favorite spots in Austin. The Carpenter is a larger boutique hotel and has a wonderful restaurant and coffee shop. The Carpenter is slightly further away from the venue (2.5 miles away) than other hotels we've recommended, but is still conveniently located in downtown Austin.

Hotel San José

Hotel San Jose is a boutique hotel that James and Lauren also love to frequent. It is located on South Congress Street - a very fun and traveler-friendly strip of Austin. Hotel San Jose has multiple sister hotels on South Congress that are also lovely. If you are looking for a charming, Austin-y hotel, we would highly recommend Hotel San Jose, Hotel Magdalena, Hotel Saint Cecilia or Austin Motel. They are all ~ 2 miles away from the French Legation.
