As of right now, given the late summer date, we still plan to move forward with our wedding. Like everyone else, we have no way of knowing what the coming months will bring. We will continue to monitor everything, and if something changes, we will be sure to contact you. We pray you are all staying safe and healthy!
We know we have many friends and family members who have food allergies. We will have a BBQ buffet with various options, including pulled pork, mac-n-cheese, and more. If you or one of your loved ones has a food allergy, please text me at 517-526-0250, and I will get you the full menu.
We would prefer that no one takes pictures during the ceremony portion of our wedding day. We have hired a talented wedding photographer, named Mary and she will be capturing all of the big ceremony moments for us. During the cocktail hour and reception, please take all of the photos you want!
Yes! We would love to see any photos you take of our special day. Please tag us and use our two hashtags, #MARIHITTHEJAKEPOT, and #J&M🌲.
No there will not be. We have family and friends coming from all over, so we wanted to ensure that there wasn't a gap. Following the ceremony, please head over to Eagle Hall where we will have snacks, drinks, and yard games available until dinner is served and the reception starts. Between the wedding and reception, the bridal party will be taking some photos, but our goal is to limit the amount of time we spend doing that so that we have more time to hang out with all of you!
We will be heading to one of our favorite places, the Upper Peninsula! Late summer is a beautiful time of year in the State of Michigan, and we are excited we'll have a week up there to unplug and unwind.
We will be having a catholic wedding ceremony, and it will be about an hour long. The church does have air conditioning and restrooms are available as well.
