Flight

Logan Airport, Boston MA

If you are flying from far away, the easiest and cheapest flights will most likely be through Boston. From there, you will need to call a Taxi, Uber, Lyft or rent a car to get to the Point Judith/Narragansett ferry. The drive from Logan to the Narragansett is about 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

TF Green Airport, Providence RI

TF Green airport is the closest airport to the Point Judith/Narragansett ferry, but might be more difficult to fly into. From here, you will need to call a Taxi, Uber, Lyft or rent a car to get to the ferry in Narragansett. This drive will be about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Ferry - Point Judith/Narragansett, RI

Point Judith/Narragansett, RI Ferry At this time in the season - this is the most viable option to get to Block Island There are two ferry options from the Point Judith Block Island Ferry. The highspeed ferry takes 30 minutes and the traditional ferry takes 1 hour. If you wish to take the high speed ferry, we suggest booking your tickets in advance. The traditional ferry rarely sells out, so you can buy tickets when you arrive, but you can also book ahead if you'd like.

Train

Amtrak: NYC to Kingston, RI or Providence, RI

If you are coming from NYC, the New London Ferry will not being running, so you will need to take the Point Judith Ferry in Rhode Island. You can take the Amtrak from NYC to Kingston, RI. From Kingston, RI it will be a 20-25 minute Uber/Taxi ride to the Point Judith Ferry. Ubers may be harder to get around here, so plan ahead. You can also take the Amtrak from NYC to Providence, RI. From Providence, RI it will be a 45 minute Uber/Taxi ride to the Point Judith Ferry. Ubers and taxis will be more readily available in Providence.

Ferry - Montauk, NY

If you are close to Montauk, this option will be the most convenient for you. But Please note: This Ferry only runs on Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon during this time of the season and only runs at 9am to get to Block Island. You must purchase your tickets in advance for this ferry.
