What if we're concerned about traveling because of Covid-19?

Answer

We understand that these are unusual times and that everyone may not feel safe traveling. While we absolutely want you to celebrate with us here in Steamboat Springs, we want you to keep yourself and your loved ones safe and healthy. We completely understand if you feel uncomfortable traveling and choose to RSVP No.

When should we arrive and leave Steamboat?

Answer

We plan on arriving Wednesday and leaving Monday morning. Our intention is to ski Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at Steamboat Ski Resort. If you're flying from out of town, we recommend flying into Steamboat on Thursday or early Friday morning.

What Covid-19 regulations are currently in place in Steamboat Springs?

Answer

Colorado's requirements are constantly changing and are likely different than your home state's regulation if you're traveling from out of town. The State of Colorado requires you to wear a mask in all public places. At restaurants, reservations limit the number of people per group. Beside the Friday dinner reception, when and where else can we see you?

Answer

We will try our best to spend quality time with all of our friends and family this weekend, especially those visiting from out of town. Current Covid-19 regulations will make meeting in large groups challenging. We plan to ski throughout the weekend, so that is a great place to find us! Please text us and we'll let you know the best place to meet up.

Where will you be staying?

Answer

We rented an AirBnB near the Steamboat Ski Resort. The address of the AirBnB is 1421 Flat Top Circle, Steamboat Springs, CO, 80487. If you plan on skiing, we recommend finding a place near the ski resort base or along the Green Line or Red Line shuttles. If you're not planning to ski, you're probably better off staying somewhere near downtown Steamboat Springs (which is ~10 minutes north of the ski resort).

Can we bring kids?

Answer

Yes you can bring kids this weekend. However, due to the limitations of Covid-19, we will not be inviting children outside of our immediate family to the Friday evening dinner celebration.

Is there a hotel block somewhere?

Answer

Since we cannot have large public gatherings, we decided against booking a group block at a hotel. There are plenty of hotels around Steamboat Springs, or you can book a vacation rental through Vacasa, AirBnB, and Vrbo.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry. We're not big on tangible gifts and we don't have a wish list. The experience and memories of celebrating a wedding weekend in Steamboat with you is a great enough gift in itself. Anything beyond your presence at our wedding celebration of course will be appreciated but by no means is expected.
