DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH/FLORENCE

From Florence / The North: Take the A1 motorway towards Rome. Exit at Valdarno, after paying the toll turn right, follow signs for Montevarchi. At the end of the road where you see a large railway flyover keep right and turn right following signs for Montevarchi. Just round the corner filter left and turn left for Levane. Filter right and turn right at the end of the road. Continue straight on for approx. 4/5 kms. You will then go uphill and curve right and go over a white suspension bridge. At the roundabout, turn left and go straight on. At the next roundabout go straight on following all signs to Levane. Eventually at the end of the road you will come to a large roundabout. Take the second exit following signs for Bucine/Siena. Go over 2 roundabouts then exit for Bucine/Siena. Turn left and continue straight on. As you pass Bucine (on your right) you will go up hill. After the top of the hill and further ahead, turn right following signs for Mercatale Vno/Nusenna. At the end of the road there is a T junction, turn left to Nusenna. *Continue straight on until you see a sign on your right that says Mercatale. Turn left just after this, where you see a brown sign for Petrolo. Continue along this road. You will pass the cemetery and the road then climbs. Follow signs for Petrolo and then further ahead follow signs for Reception - Uffici. Go past the winery and as the tarmac road ends turn sharp left and go through the Villa gates. You have arrived.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH/ROME

From Rome / The South: Join the A1 motorway towards Florence. Exit at “Val di Chiana / Bettolle” and follow signs for Siena. Shortly after passing Rapolano Terme, exit at “Colonna del Grillo” Turn right following signs for “Montevarchi/ Bucine”. Then after a curve, turn left following signs to Montevarchi/Bucine. Go straight on along this road for approx. 19km. You will go through Ambra. Continue straight on. Nearing Bucine you will go over a small bridge then go up a slight hill. At the top, turn left following signs for Mercatale Vno/Nusenna. At the end of the road there is a T junction, turn left to Nusenna. *Continue straight on until you see a sign on your right that says Mercatale. Turn left just after this, where you see a brown sign for Petrolo. Continue along this road. You will pass the cemetery and the road then climbs. Follow signs for Petrolo and then further ahead follow signs for Reception - Uffici. Go past the winery and as the tarmac road ends turn sharp left and go through the Villa gates. You have arrived.
