Rashard and JacqueRae met in April of 2018 on a flight from Raleigh to St. Louis. Rashard came onto the plane eyeing an over wing exit seat for the extra legroom. That just so happened to be the area that JacqueRae was working. He tried to get her attention from the very front of the plane and she knew it and she totally ignored him (LOL). When he finally made it to her he asked did she save him a seat and she replied no. When JacqueRae noticed that he wasn't moving she decided to help him find the first seat that she could get him in order for others that were behind him to find their seat. He was totally checking her out the whole time. During the flight JacqueRae felt bad that the seat he had to occupy wasn't at all comfortable for his long legs so she offered him an alcoholic beverage and he declined with a SMILE. As the flight continued Rashard made his way to the back of the plane to work up his courage to spark up a conversation with JacqueRae. He went into the restroom to give himself a pep talk. He came out and they began to chat. The conversation was flowing and then the seat belt sign comes on and JacqueRae let him know that he had to go take his seat but before he left she wrote her name and number on a napkin and told him "If you'd like you should call me sometime" Rashard took that number and that night they ended up chatting. For the next three months they made an effort to get to know one another but it just felt like the timing wasn't right. They went their separate ways. A year and four months went by and Rashard reached out with intentionality. JacqueRae was stubborn and wasn't interested and offered him friendship. Rashard declined with " I don't want to just be your friend" God began working on JacqueRae with the interactions with her friends. With those convictions she sent him a message letting him know that she didn't know what this looked like but she was open to the possibilities The Rest is History!
