The Bride
Katryn Lopez (Kat for short) was born August 14, 2000 in Los Angeles, CA. She moved to Elk Grove when she was 5 years old and has lived there ever since. She's served in her Catholic youth ministry, CFC-Y since she was 13 years old. She graduated Sacramento State with a Bachelor's in English. Currently, she is finishing up her Master's program for her teaching credential in order to teach English at the middle school level. Meanwhile, she works as a 6th grade Teacher's Aide at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.
She has always loved to read, write, and create art, so much so that she opened up her own Etsy shop (daisyandvioletco.etsy.com) ! She delights in all things sugar, especially in the form of cookies, caramel and large Chick-fil-a sweet teas.
Fun Facts About the Bride
(Written by the Groom) 1) Kat always carries a Japanese Piplup Pokémon card in her phone case. Jacob gave this to her over 5 years ago when she was having a bad day. 2) She is not able to swim nor ride a bicycle. 3) Kat is a master at arts and crafts. She's made several of her own dresses, embroidered countless hoodies/sweatshirts, and she makes rosaries, light boxes, designs, and painted images for fun.
