Jacob and Josh first met through their college ministry and have many memories playing volleyball and working out together. For the last several years, Jacob and Josh have run a Spartan trifecta each year, traveling to races throughout Texas and in other states.

This friendship began by bonding over our shared name - Janae! From small group leader to roommate, Janae has been such a consistent friend. She is steady, faithful, full of wisdom and joy for life! On the best days she is there to celebrate and on the hardest days, she is there with hugs, prayer, and a home cooked meal. Everyone needs a "Janae" in their corner!

Nick and Jacob met when they became roommates during college. Jacob stayed close with Nick as he dated his wife, Maddie, and their friendship has lasted through the distance since graduation. Nick frequently visits DFW to attend sporting events and spend time together. This last year they went to Stars and Rangers games, along with playing top golf and trying new restaurants.

DJ and Aimee grew up in Oregon, attending the same church conferences & camps but didn’t meet until moving to Texas! We met playing softball and have had the joy of dating roommates, walking through the same stages of life together. DJ is a loyal friend who loves people fiercely! She played a key role in setting Jacob and Aimee up, for which we will always be grateful!

Carson and Jacob met through their college ministry at West Texas A&M and both moved to DFW area after college. We have stayed close since, often spending hours on the phone together as we play video games.

Having a sister has been a dream & prayer for many years! From the beginning, Becca welcomed Aimee into the family, making it so easy to build a relationship. She is sweet and sassy, with a great sense of humor, and always down for an adventure! We had a blast traveling to Oregon last fall and have run 2 Spartan races together, with plans to run more!

This friendship began after meeting in high school band. Michael and Jacob have been close ever since. From joining a bowling league together in high school to living in different cities now, Michael and Jacob keep in contact through text and phone calls.

Katie and Aimee met at a young adults service and this friendship grew over long walks & dinners together. Katie's loyalty, fun heart, and adventurous spirit has made this friendship special! A favorite memory together is our trip to Mexico, where we built a house for a family & bookended our trip exploring San Diego!
James Stewart

James and Jacob met through a church small group that James led. Their friendship has continued through volleyball, hang outs with friends, and co-coaching softball teams together. They are an excellent team and talk daily.

This has been such a sweet & fun friendship that has flourished over the last two years. From playing volleyball and softball alongside each other to running races and getting dinner together, Janae has been a sweet friend. We share a love for being active and are both very competitive!
