Who would've thought you could actually find your soulmate on Bumble? We both were actually swiping through our dating apps while doing homework in college and ended up on a Facetime call with each other until 7:00AM the next morning because we couldn't stop talking. What else were we supposed to do during the pandemic? Next thing we know, Austin's at my old apartment with Chick-fil-A breakfast and the rest is history. Not long after, the plastic dresser found a new home in my closet and Austin never left Jackie's side!

Austin proposed to Jackie back in August of 2022 on the beach in Kill Devil Hills in the Outer Banks. After getting our whole friend group involved for months, planning this occasion, setting the scene with champagne and sunflowers, and managing to get everyone together in a different state, our group found out we all had COVID. No wonder Jackie had to get dragged out of bed to go catch the sunrise the morning of her proposal! Luckily, we all still managed to make the most of our trip and celebrate this BIG moment.
