Maid of Honor
Jackie and Jen have known each other since 9th grade and to this day finish each other's sentences (and lyrics to obscure R&B songs). They lived together post-college, traveled together all over the country & beyond, and now Jackie, Marissa, and Jen are lucky to be honorary members of each other's families.
Matron of Honor
Jackie and Loni are cousins (“but not by blood!”) At least that's how Marissa was introduced to her in the early college days. Loni and Jackie grew up together, played music together, share the funniest stories, and are truly best friends. Loni currently lives in Seattle, but every time they see each other, they pick up right where they left off.
Man of Honor
Brandon is Marissa's brother, and he has been by her side for over 3 decades (for better or for worse, like the times when there was a battle over control of the dial up internet and family computer). She is lucky to once again have him by her side on the wedding day!
Bridesmaid
Elyse and Marissa go all the way back to a friendship that started in the 6th grade. They mirrored all their high school class schedules, attempted to play sports (actually became co-captains of the volleyball team), and have kept up an extremely close bond over the last decade that she's lived in Denver. When they’re together it’s just like those silly high school days!
Bridesmaid
Theresa was roommates with Jackie and Marissa during most of their time at St. Joe’s. Jackie and Theresa quickly bonded over growing up just 5 minutes from each other, comparing notes of people they both knew. Her family single-handedly kept them fed throughout college with Sunday dinner deliveries and bulk size snacks. Theresa is the first college friend to welcome the next generation of “wolves” with her son, Ryder.
Bridesmaid
Colleen and Marissa were roommates freshman year of college, and they instantly knew they would live together throughout the four years (along with Jackie and Theresa). Coll and Marissa majored in Marketing and had the majority of classes together, too. To this day, Colleen only lives a few blocks away in Philly and it still feels like those college days every time they get together!
Bridesman
Sean and Jackie met at work about 10 years ago. Both high school English teachers with an eerily similar sense of humor and knowledge of random facts, they became fast friends. In fact, you can find Sean hosting bar trivia every week around Fishtown (give him a follow on Instagram @anxiousmillenialquizzo)! Jackie and Sean no longer work together but their friendship has evolved far beyond work friends.
Bridesmaid
Jackie and Marissa are basically neighbors with Allie (and Sean) in Philly. They are all the unofficial aunts/uncles to each other's pets. Allie quickly became a close post-college BFF. Jackie and Marissa are lucky to have formed such a close friendship with both Cunninghams over the past several years and look forward to the anticipated annual ski trips! (PS if you’re interested in playing pickle ball while you’re in Maine, Allie will give you a run for your money!)
Bridesman
John is Jackie’s nephew with a heart of gold. He’s a teenager who excels in school, is always willing to help, and has a sense of humor that can match wits with any adult. In addition to being the best big brother to his sister and hanging out with his friends, you can find John helping his high school robotics team succeed in national competitions.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Ellen is Jackie’s niece who is an incredibly outgoing nine-year old. She most recently broke out as one of the premier players on her soccer team this past season and has also taken dance lessons for the past several years. Ellen loves to sing and perform, so she is definitely someone you want to find on the dance floor at the wedding!
Officiant
John is Jackie’s older brother who wears many hats as a caring husband, father, and teacher. He and Jackie share the same sense of humor and John has grown to know Marissa as part of the family since Marissa and Jackie met at St. Joe’s. As a fellow Hawk with a decades-long background in theater, Jackie and Marissa knew that John would be perfect to officiate their wedding in Maine!
