Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa

This is the location of our ceremony and reception. It is about 20 minutes from the airport without traffic, and 8 blocks from the beach. It has a pool, spa, restaurants, bar, yoga classes, and a little cafe for coffee and breakfast. Also, Estancia is a dog friendly hotel! The room block is held for Saturday night but the discounted rate is available from check in Wednesday the 17th to checkout Tuesday the 23rd if you wish to extend your vacation. It is a small hotel with 210 rooms and July is peak season, so we recommend booking as soon as you can. Best Western Plus Island Palms Hotel & Marina

This is the location of our Welcome Drinks! The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport, close to downtown San Diego and about 30 minutes to Estancia. It has 2 pools, a restaurant, and is connected to the marina where the Olson Family keeps their boat. There is public parking across the street for free which we would suggest taking advantage of, rather than paying the hotel parking fees. The discounted rate is available for July 18-July 21. The "Marina Views" are the rooms facing the Marina, and "Water Views" are rooms facing Shelter Island Drive, and the San Diego Harbor. We recommend the Marina Views, which are also on a lovely walking path. All of the suites have couches in them that convert to pull out beds, and mini kitchenettes.
