Travel Note
The best weather in Tampa Bay in October generally occurs in the last two weeks of the month and into early November. This is due to the transition from the hot, humid summer to the milder, drier fall season. While the first half of October can still be hot and humid with occasional rain, the latter part of the month sees temperatures drop into the low 70s and highs in the low 80s, with less humidity and rain.
