Question

Is the Hotel Flor Tampa Dog or Pet Friendly ?

Answer

Yes, Hotel Flor welcomes dogs. Each room is permitted to have up to two common domestic dogs weighing no more than 50 lbs. each. A $50 non-refundable pet fee is collected per stay upon arrival. Service dogs are welcome. We know how important our fur babies are, so we wouldn't expect you to leave them at home.

Question

Can I bring my pet to the Gala ?

Answer

We love our fur babies as much as the rest, but sadly, due to the nature of the Tampa Museum of Art, our four-legged buddies will have to stay home.

Question

Do I have to book and stay at The Hotel Flor ?

Answer

Of course not, Tampa Bay has a diverse range of hotels. In Tampa alone, there are hotels located in neighborhoods like Westshore/Airport, East Hillsborough, Downtown/Channel District, North Tampa, Ybor City, and South Tampa. October is a popular month, so we booked a block of rooms at The Hotel Flor to help secure a locked-in discount for our guests.

Question

Will there be a dinner served ?

Answer

Since this evening is not a traditional Wedding Reception, no dinner will be served, but Hor d'oeuvres and stations will be served throughout the full evening. Can't have an open bar and not feed you something..... we are not monsters lol

Question

I do not drink alcohol, will that be an issue ?

Answer

Our Family and Friends are made up of a diverse group of humans who drink alcohol and those that don't. To reflect this diversity, there will be non-alcoholic drinks for those who wish to celebrate with a slightly clearer head.

Question

My invitation doesn't have a set guest count, how many can I bring ?

Answer

If your invitation is not addressed already to two or more, we ask that you only bring 1 guest. We do ask that on the RSVP you notate how many in your party will be attending.

Question

Is this event child friendly ?

Answer

We welcome friends and family of all ages, we understand some of our guests are farther in their journey of life and have little ones. We ask that parents and guardians remember that this event will be held at the Tampa Museum of Art and that there will be fragile and expensive pieces little adventurers can break.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the Gala ?

Answer

No transportation will be provided. We booked a block of rooms and locations that were centrally located to allow our guests to walk or rideshare. Knowing this will be a celebratory evening filled with libations, we encourage our guests to leave their cars at home or the hotel and book a rideshare or walk.

Question

Is the After Party "Open Bar" ?

Answer

This portion of the evening is cash, credit, debit, or bought by a friend.
