Question

What is the difference between East Vail, West Vail, Lionshead, and Vail Village?

Answer

This is very important when booking accommodations as we want our guests to be able to get to the venue as easy as possible! Vail Village is the main town and where the gondola to the venue is. The bridal party will be staying in Vail Village. Lionshead is the next exit from Vail Village and is like a sister village. There is a free shuttle that connects Lionshead and Vail Village or its an enjoyable 1/2 mile walk. East Vail and West Vail are separate exits and are not easily accessible to Vail Village or Lionshead. You should prepare to drive to Vail Village if you plan to stay in East and West Vail.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than June 1st, 2022.

Question

What do I need to do to prepare for the high altitude?

Answer

Our wedding venue is located up a gondola and is over 10,000 feet above sea level. It is very important to drink lots of water the entire weekend to stay hydrated and to help avoid altitude sickness. It is encouraged to arrive to Colorado a couple of days prior to the wedding to give your body ample time to adjust to the high altitude. We also advise wearing sunscreen as well!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception location requires a ride up the Gondola (don't worry, the ticket is on us!) Please arrive to the gondola by 4:15pm. It takes about 15-20 minutes to arrive to our venue.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please indicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP and we will be sure to accommodate your request.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes. If not, we prefer just you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage semi-formal attire. Suits and cocktail dresses (no jeans please). The evenings in the mountains can get quite cool, so we recommend bringing a light jacket.
