Our Story

Anthony and Amanda met with just a swipe of a finger.

Sometimes the smallest of actions can lead to the biggest of outcomes. After matching on Bumble, their first date was an outdoor concert at Surly Brewing with the bands Spoon and Grizzly Bear. Once they arrived, Anthony bought drink tickets for the two of them, only for Amanda to walk up and buy the same number of drink tickets for herself. Needless to say, they used them all. And despite chatting Anthony's ear off during both sets, Amanda left quite the first impression. They spent the next few months going on dates and exploring Minneapolis together. From bowling and wine bars to sushi and mini golf, the summer of 2018 was filled with charm, laughter, and excitement. Before they knew it, they were attending yoga classes together, cooking dinners, and planning trips. Something had clicked. They were spending more days than not with one another and were only growing closer. After just one year of dating, they moved in together. Then, for Anthony's 30th birthday, Amanda surprised him with a dog named Arthur. And despite a global pandemic, losing their jobs, and eventually doing a year and a half of long distance, their connection remained as strong as ever. So on April 22, 2023, Anthony proposed to Amanda at sunrise on the cliffs of Interstate State Park overlooking the St. Croix River. Now, as they look toward their future, they hope you'll join them in celebrating the morning of their lives together.
