Things To Do

A few of our favorite places for you to eat, drink, and explore!

Young Joni

165 13th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413

Fantastic pizza with a Korean-American flare, located in Minneapolis' Northeast neighborhood. Our favorite: the Umami Mama Pizza with a side of the house kimchi.

Spoon and Stable

211 North 1st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Spoon and Stable is home to the best chef in Minnesota. If you're looking for a nice dinner or brunch reservation, this is your place. Our Favorites: Truly anything on the menu.

Parlour Bar

730 North Washington Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Parlour is a chic restaurant and bar located in the basement below Borough. They have the best burger in the city and a great cocktail menu. Our favorite: the burger with a side of fries.

Dogwood Coffee

1209 Tyler Street N, Minneapolis, MN 55413

Our favorite spot for coffee. Dogwood is located a little farther into Northeast Minneapolis, but it's a great spot if you're looking for good coffee and a quick game of ping pong.

Marty's Deli

400 Northeast Lowry Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55418

Small and simple, Marty's is perfect for a quick bite in the afternoon. Get there early, because their sandwiches sell out fast! Our favorite: The Pool & Yacht.

Modist Brewing Co.

505 North 3rd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401

You can't visit the Grain Belt without trying a Minnesota beer! Modist has a wide assortment of beers, sours, and THC seltzers. There's something for everyone, even if beer isn't your thing. Amanda's Favorite: Tropical Fruited Sour Anthony's Favorite: False Pattern

Mill City Farmers Market

750 South 2nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Located just down the street from The Depot, the Mill City Farmers Market is open on Saturdays and is a great option if you're looking to kill some time and grab a bite next to the river.

Stone Arch Bridge

One of the landmark attractions in Minneapolis, the Stone Arch Bridge crosses the Mississippi River and offers one of the best views of the city.

Chain of Lakes

Minneapolis is known as the "City of Waters" for a reason. The Chain of Lakes offers five different lakes to explore. Bde Maka Ska, Lake of the Isles, or Cedar Lake are all great options for walking, biking, kayaking, or paddle boarding. The Chain of Lakes is located near the Uptown neighborhood, roughly 10 minutes from The Depot.

Minnehaha Falls

Minneapolis, MN 55417

Our go-to location for a short hike, Minnehaha Falls has a variety of trails along the river surrounded by trees. It's about 15 minutes from The Depot.

First Avenue & 7th Street Entry

701 N 1st Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403

First Avenue is an independent music venue that has been located in downtown Minneapolis for more than 50 years. The outside of the building displays the names of some of the biggest artists that have played there over the years, including Prince, who performed at the club regularly and filmed "Purple Rain" there.
