Beerwood

This was the first place Avie and Sam met in person. You can check out Los Osos and how cool of a little beach town it is! It’s not too far from Morro Bay either. :) Both places are a 15-20 minute drive from San Luis Obispo

San Luis Obispo Public Market

There are a few different options here when it comes to food. This has been our go to. :)

BarrelHouse Brewing Co. - Brewery and Beer Gardens

Staying up in North County? Well this is a fun place to visit with live music & so much outdoor seating. There’s also Negranti Creamery and Tin City Cider

Avila Beach

This is a small intimate beach that we like to have some date nights :) great restaurants are here too! Around the areas they have a barn, wineries, cider place & a hiking trail/walk from the Bob Jones trail to Avila. Hopefully around the time the wedding comes around, they will have Avila Farmer’s Markets on Friday night from 4-8pm.

Austin Hope Winery

Sam & her mother are members here. Avie loves their wine also. Their wines have been in the top 10 in the country. Wonderful wines and beautiful scenery!

Montaña de Oro State Park

A quieter beach we love to go to. We also took our engagement photos here. :)

Bob Jones Trail

This is one of our favorite places to walk from the start to the finish which ends up being the beach :) We have also taken Ryu (Avie’s dog soon to be Sam’s too) on this walk. You can ride your bikes on this trail too.

Hearst Castle

Something for the kiddos and adults, this place has the old school arcade games for the whole family…well until 8pm.

Elephant Seal Vista Point

April is one of the best times to see the elephant seals laying out on the beach. One of the many cool things about the central coast!

Gladiator Paintball Park

One of Avie’s favorite things to do. He’s been trying to get Sam to do this with him, but she’s not into it. Haha.

Cerro San Luis Obispo

Cerro San Luis Obispo (also known as Madonna Mountain) is a 1,292 feet mountain in San Luis Obispo, California. It is part of the chain of peaks called the Nine Sisters. It is a common spot for hiking, jogging and mountain biking, and has steep terrain. Bishop Peak

Bishops Peak is one of the well known mountains to hike up here in San Luis Obispo. Distance: 3.5 to 4.2 miles (out and back) Elevation change: 950 to 1175 feet Open to: Hikers, dogs Fees & Permits: It's free! Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Baileyana, Tangent & True Myth Tasting Room
