The United States Air Force Academy (also known as USAFA, the Air Force Academy, or the Academy), is a military academy for officer cadets of the United States Air Force. The campus is located in Colorado Springs, ~60 miles south of Denver on I-25. This campus is worth seeing! If you get there around noon, you will see the cadets marching in for lunch. But, need to check the summer schedule, as they may be not be there. The chapel is beautiful and worth seeing They have a good visitors center.
