Garden of the Gods & Pikes Peak
Head south from Denver (~30-45 min) and visit Garden of the Gods, a unique geological area with colossal red rock formations. Then take a drive up Pikes Peak, which inspired the song “America the Beautiful.” Have lunch and enjoy a bit of free time or shopping in the charming town of Manitou Springs, then take a scenic drive through the foothills back to Denver. https://www.pikes-peak.com/
United States Air Force Academy
The United States Air Force Academy (also known as USAFA, the Air Force Academy, or the Academy), is a military academy for officer cadets of the United States Air Force. The campus is located in Colorado Springs, ~60 miles south of Denver on I-25. This campus is worth seeing! If you get there around noon, you will see the cadets marching in for lunch. But, need to check the summer schedule, as they may be not be there. The chapel is beautiful and worth seeing They have a good visitors center.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
18300 W Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO 80465. About 15 miles SW of Denver. 9:00AM – 4:00PM Daily Naturally formed, open air Amphitheatre consists of two, three-hundred-foot monoliths serving as a "stage" for musical performances.
Rocky Mountain National Park
Take a full-day tour and drive to the world-famous Rocky Mountain National Park. Travel by way of city of Boulder (home of University of Boulder). Boulder is a fun little town, where you can explore Pearl Street. Then continue your driving tour to the resort village of Estes Park. This mountain town has a main street lined with boutiques, souvenir shops and eateries.
Vail & Beaver Creek
~100 miles west of downtown Denver. Will take about 1 hour and 45 min to drive. North America's biggest and most popular ski resort, Vail is an alpine village in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Long a favorite of serious skiers and jet setting celebrities, Skiing is king at Vail Mountain and the Blue Sky Basin, but the area's vast splendor is perfect for hiking, biking, snowmobiling or scenery-gazing at any time of the year.

Molly Brown House Museum
Open daily: 10:00AM to 3:30PM This antique-filled Victorian house was the home of Molly Brown, not only a famous survivor of the Titanic, but so much more. Admission to the Museum is only via tours which begin every 30 minutes and last approximately 45 minutes.
Denver Rockies at Coors Field
Home of the Colorado Rockies, located in downtown Denver, Colorado. It is named for the Coors Brewing Company of Golden, Colorado, which purchased the naming rights to the park prior to its completion in 1995. There are scheduled tours available.
Broncos Stadium at Mile High

Coors Brewery
The Coors Brewery in Golden is the largest single-site brewery in the world. Located just 15 miles west of Denver, it still stands on the same ground where Adolph Coors set up shop in 1873. On the Coors Brewery Tour get an up-close look at what goes on inside the brewery. The 30-minute tour highlights the malting, brewing and packaging processes before enjoying some samples of their great beer.

This is about 39 miles south of Denver. Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Location on Colorado Blvd, next to the Denver Zoo and near the Cherry Creek district. It is featuring an extensive Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit, which is on a 6 month tour at the Denver Museum. You need to reserve tickets in advance.
The Denver Mint
Learn the rich history of the United States Mint and how the US government produce billions of coins each year for the American public with a free, guided tour of the Denver facility. Free tour tickets are available at the Tour Information window located at the Gift Shop entrance gate on Cherokee Street, between West Colfax Avenue and West 14th Avenue. 16th Street Mall / Larimer Square
Larimer Square is the square that Denver was founded on, it was the location of the first pioneer camp after gold was discovered in the nearby Rocky Mountains. The historic buildings in the area are now a treasure trove of shops, restaurants, boutiques, bars and cafes. There is ALWAYS something going on, always a comedy show or a live performance, a street event or a street art exhibit. The square is especially beloved at night, when lights strung over the street and across building constellations light up the evening in a pretty constellation of stars. The square has its own website with a complete catalogue of places to visit and things to do - check it out before you visit.
Downtown Boulder & Pearl Street Mall
More than 1,000 businesses fill the red-brick, pedestrian-only thoroughfare, which runs roughly along Pearl Street from 9th Street on the west end to 21st Street on the east end — and radiating to the streets and alleyways that surround it. Most of the things to see and do on Pearl Street are locally owned, bringing with them that special only-in-Boulder character — described as “nestled between the mountains and reality” just a half-hour’s drive from Denver.
