You may have some questions, we have some answers. Please check back here on our website for updates as we get closer to the wedding date!
Question

What are the rules about flying into HNL?

Answer

Please, we beg you, schedule your covid tests in advance, the time slots fill up fast. Please read the "Rules to know before traveling to HI": https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel/getting-to-hawaii/ Please book your Covid test at one of the trusted partners listed here: https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/ If you do not follow these rules and regs Hawaii has set forth you will be sent home at the airport, forced to quarantined or fined if caught out and about. It's not our rules, it's HI. Please make your plans in accordance.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The wedding venue is located on a very busy highway which is dangerous for pick up and drop off and no parking is available onsite. Therefore all guests are HIGHLY REQUSTED to arrive by Uber or Lyft. The safest place for drop off is located close to 12 Niuiki Circle, Honolulu HI 96821. This is NOT the wedding venue, this is only the address you will use for drop off and pickup. This address is located on a street off the highway and close to the actual wedding venue which is 5687 Kalanianaʻole Highway, Honolulu, HI 96821.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless it's marked on your invitation as plus one, please do not bring additional guests, this is a small intimate wedding with a limited guest list, thank you in advance.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

YES! We love those little nuggets, please bring them along... unless you want a mom/dad's night-off, then it's totally up to you! But they are welcome.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beachy cocktail attire please. Keep in mind, most of the evening will be spent outside in grass and May is typically quite warm in Hawaii. Dress accordingly.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 1, 2021 at the latest please. I would also advise booking your flights and hotels at least 6 weeks in advance.

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

Check out this website for COVID related travel questions in Hawaii: https://www.honolulu.gov/mayor/proclamations-orders-and-rules.html Please keep in mind, we are keeping this gathering extremely intimate and small. You are our favorite people in the world and that's what we've decided is important to us, celebrating in the place of Ikaika's birth surrounded by all the people we adore. Please book refundable accommodations (flights and hotels) due to our ever-changing world, we cannot foresee what Hawaii will look like this coming May. We are hoping for the best, but know that some of you may not feel confident traveling at that time. We completely understand, so please make arrangements that can be changed as needed.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough. As you may know Ikaika & Isabelle have been living together for a couple of years now and have created a beautiful home together. If you do want to send a gift to the couple, please donate to their "honey fund" so they can go somewhere fun for their honeymoon! Thank you for your generosity and again, your presence is the best gift of all. You can find the link by going to the Registry tab on this site or clicking here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/ikaandisa/registry

Question

Are there going to be other wedding events I can attend?
