Questions? Queries? Quandaries? Take a gander!
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding dress code is Formal, aka Black Tie Optional - meaning that tuxedos are not required but suits are mandatory, and that dresses can range from floor-length to cocktail attire. Remember, our wedding is in December, so plan on bringing a jacket or shawl to stay warm!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, to allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we are making this a child-free event. Get ready to let your hair down!

Question

How are you handling the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

We take COVID-19 very seriously, and strongly recommend that all guests are vaccinated and boosted (if possible) in order to create a safe environment for everyone, including those who are immunocompromised (like the bride)! For vaccine appointments, we recommend starting here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/How-Do-I-Get-a-COVID-19-Vaccine.html *Please note that we will update guests as we monitor the pandemic in case of any additional changes.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Green Gables Wedding Estate has ample parking on the property, and there will be no valets to pay at the end of the night. However, if you plan on drinking, we always recommend using Lyft.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend driving yourselves or taking a Lyft to and from the ceremony in order to accommodate everyone's travel plans.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You are more than welcome to arrive as early as 3:00 PM PST on the day of our wedding!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure that you're taken care of. For hors d'oeuvres and other snacks, common allergens will be listed as well for our gluten-free and vegan friends.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and within the venue's parameters - AKA our wedding is RSVP only. At this time, we're only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! There are multiple pathways to and from the ceremony and reception that are accessible for wheelchairs, canes, walkers - you name it!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! You can find our registry on the "Registry" tab here on our website.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside on the estate grounds before moving into a large tent for the reception and dancing.
