It's happening!

On a slightly cold, Southern California winter's night, Skye was huddled up in the Student Union on Chapman's campus desperately attempting to study. The first semester of Senior year was coming to an end, and she was having a hard time focusing, even with the support of a sorority sister beside her. After striking up a conversation with a friend, Skye looked up at the sound of someone approaching. Who was this mystery man? Casually inserting himself into the conversation about the upcoming Star Wars film with a joke, Adam sat down. The joke? How warm is a TaunTaun? Luke-warm. It was love at first sight.

To celebrate Halloween and escape their Irvine apartment, Skye planned a trip to Idyllwild, CA for a long weekend. With a hint to get her nails done by her friends, she was ready for the question to be popped once they were on the mountain. Adam had other plans. After hearing Skye mention how she had never seen the Cabazon Dinosaurs in real life (outside of Pee Wee's Big Adventure), he decided to take a detour on the way to their cabin. When he saw how excited she was to see them, he knew that now was the time. While Skye jumped out to take photos and laugh over the sheer ridiculousness of the cement dinosaurs dressed up as Flintstone characters, Adam took his time following, offering to take a photo of her in front of the T-Rex. The twist? When she turned around, he was on one knee.
