What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

3:00PM. We will be serving some refreshments on your way in, so be sure not to miss them!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. Feel free to leave your vehicle overnight, but be sure to retrieve it before the end of Sunday's brunch at 2pm. We will be providing a shuttle service to and from the ceremony for those who prefer not to drive one or both ways. See Travel section of the website for more details.

Technically, there is no curfew! We welcome those who are up for it to stay as late as they wish!

Should I stay in Carmel or Monterey?
Answer
The two towns are next to each other, both right on the coast, and equal distance (about a 15 min drive) to the venue. Carmel is exceptionally charming, extremely walkable, and full of boutique shops and restaurants, but accommodations can be pricey. Monterey is also very charming with lots to do and see but is a little larger and more spread out, with a wider range of accommodations to fit different preferences and budgets. The shuttle will serve a central point in both locations (see Travel section for details). Wherever you choose to stay, please book your lodging ASAP! Apparently our wedding weekend is a popular one and hotels and vacation rentals will book up fast. Even if you're not yet certain you can come, most places should allow you to cancel your reservation later.

Why aren't there designated hotel room blocks available?
Answer
We know it's customary to provide room blocks for guests, but unfortunately the hotels here don't do them during the wedding season months. We therefore encourage you to find your best fit based on the options provided in the Travel section of the website.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Unfortunately, the venue is not particularly kid-friendly, so we are required to limit the invited children to a very small number within the immediate family. Those invited will be explicitly specified on the invitation.
