We're getting married!

In typical Millennial fashion, Stephanie and Anthony downloaded the app known as Hinge. One Spring Sunday afternoon, Anthony opened the app and began to scroll, his eyes laid upon a beautiful woman. A tan woman with dark hair and a glorious smile, with a picture of her in Italy. The young Italian boy was Starstruck. He continued to scroll through her profile and read that she was 5'11'... the rest well is history. Their first date was at Gravelly Point park, where the two brought both of their dogs and picnicked together as the planes flew over their heads into Reagan Airport. The date was glorious except for the fact that the dog that Anthony brought on the date was not the cute young puppy that Stephanie had seen on Anthony's profile, but instead was all grown up. The dog was also not even Anthony's, but actually his parents. Steph was hoodwinked! Anthony's dog Rex, even though he was no longer a puppy, or even Anthony's, was a well behaved gentleman like his alleged owner, and made such a great impression with Stephanie and her dog Rico that he had saved the day. That night at dinner all was well until Anthony went to the bathroom and Rico decided to eat Anthony's entire burrito while he was away... Anthony came back to the scene hysterical with laughter. Stephanie felt so bad that she purchased three frozen burritos (with slight freezer burn) from a nearby gas station for him. They both knew at that very moment that this was the person they wanted to be with for the rest of their lives.

The weekend of their 3 year anniversary, Stephanie and Anthony were at Carolina Beach, NC beach with friends. The night before their anniversary Anthony asked Stephanie if she wanted to get up early the next day for their anniversary to walk the beach together and see the sunrise, knowing very well that he planned to propose. Stephanie, who loves long walks on the beach, said "Oh crap I totally forgot it's our anniversary". Anthony took that as a "Yes" and hatched out a plan... The next morning Anthony got up early and headed to the beach to draw a Heart in the sand with their initials inside of it, and planted a bottle of Champagne nearby. He then woke Stephanie up and with coffees in hand they made their way to the beach. Upon arrival the sun began to rise, a beautiful scene. Anthony then pointed out a spot in the sand where the Heart was and asked Steph if she could see what that was in the sand. She responded "Oh I think those are birds" completely overlooking the Heart in the sand. They walked over and once she saw the Heart with their initials inside she melted. Anthony then bent the knee and the rest was history... They then went to grab the champagne bottle that Anthony planted and right when they did, a truck on the beach drove right through the Heart that Anthony drew in the sand. If they would have arrived at the beach 30 seconds later Stephanie would have seen a Heart with wheels tracks right through the middle. The two laughed at what happened and cried, realizing that the Heart now had two arrows through the center, a perfect ending to a perfect proposal. They then walked the beach, drinking champagne out of their coffee mugs, because of course Anthony forgot to plant champagne glasses with the bottle... We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you all very soon!
