Maggie eventually moved away, so Matthew took over Maggie's duties keeping Courtney entertained. Courtney and Maggie are proof that soulmates come in many forms -- and Courtney couldn't imagine her wedding day without her other half.

Their dads have been best friends since the 1st grade and Courtney definitely thought Chelsea was her cousin until she was, like 10. Since that apparently isn't the case, she gets the title "kind-of-cousin" just because it's easier to explain it to people that way. She's essentially family, but she's not, but she is, so obviously she's an important part of this shindig.
