Hunter and Gerald met the traditional way--on Hinge! Their first date was during a BLIZZARD in St Louis, MO at Takashima Record Bar. Hunter trudged through the snow in her boots to get there and Gerald braved the roads. They hit it off instantly, cancelled their other dates, and went out again two days later. The pair could not believe the other was single, because (lets be honest) they're both CATCHES. Hunter describes it as "the best date of her life". They went to dinner, romantic drinks at a rooftop bar, and danced the night away. It was a dream. They fell in love on their "staycation" weekend where they brunched, watched sporting events, and explored in the beautiful STL weather. The rest is history!

Gerald and Hunter planned a magical outdoorsy vacation to the Buffalo River in Arkansas, one of Hunter's favorite spots. It was the perfect day--hiking, swimming in the river, and enjoying the stunning views on the porch with a glass of wine. Gerald gets on one knee and says "in my life now, there is before Hunter and after Hunter; you're the best thing that ever happened to me." He pops the question, they both cry a little, and celebrate with some champagne.
