Once upon a time, in the hallowed halls of Bucknell University, two students named Hunter and Andrew crossed paths. It was the first week of orientation, and fate had brought them together as lab partners for Engineering 100. Little did they know that their chance encounter would blossom into a lifelong love story, full of adventure and passion. After their first semester, Hunter and Andrew lost touch, as life took them in different directions. But destiny reconnected them in Bucknell's infamous frat basement known as Purple Pillars. Hunter and Andrew's relationship became a whirlwind of exhilaration and exploration. Sharing a deep ardor for adventure and travel, they embarked on a dream excursion to New Zealand and Thailand after their graduation, immersing themselves in new cultures and reveling in the thrill of shared adventures. When distance threatened to pull them apart, Andrew convinced Hunter to move to New York City, where they could be closer to each other. They lived in different neighborhoods but made the most of their weekends, exploring the city's culinary scene and spending time with friends (mainly at Fishmarket). Their love demonstrated the power to triumph over the bustling chaos of the Big Apple. When the world was plunged into darkness by the COVID-19 pandemic, Hunter and Andrew headed down to Asheville, North Carolina, to stay with Hunter's family (bless Andrew’s soul). For six months, they learned new recipes, discovered Andrew's dislike of golf, and took advantage of the outdoors. It was a time of growth and reflection (and copious servings of Austin Hope), a time that strengthened their bond. To capitalize on remote work, Hunter and Andrew decided to move to Golden, CO, where they could be surrounded by nature and adventure. They spent their first year in Colorado exploring the mountains, skiing, fishing, backpacking and camping. They were captivated by the beauty of their new home, and they knew that they had found their place in the world. As they settled into their new life, Hunter got accepted into her dream MBA program at MIT Sloan, so they moved to Boston to pursue career opportunities, challenge themselves academically, make new friendships and travel to incredible places together (like Greece and Japan). Yet, even the demands of graduate school could not indefinitely keep them away from their beloved mountains. They eagerly anticipate their return to Colorado, poised to embark on the next chapter of their intertwined journey - this time as first-time home owners!!! As they look back on their story, Hunter and Andrew know that their love is a rare and precious thing. They had weathered storms and explored new frontiers together, and their love had only grown stronger with each passing day. They are excited to continue their journey together, hand in hand, exploring the world and making new memories.
