This is the closest airport to Shell Island Resort. It's about a 25-minute drive but the resort does not offer an airport shuttle. For those who are just staying in the Wrightsville Beach area while you are here, this is the best option.

This is about a 30-minute drive from Hulani's house and an 80-minute drive to Shell Island Resort. For those staying at a home in the Raleigh area a few days before the wedding, this is the best option.

This is where we will be having the wedding. It's a beautiful resort that only offers oceanfront suites! They are all laid out the same but you have the option of either two double beds or one king bed. They all come with a kitchenette and you have the option of reserving a room that has a door leading to the next one. This is perfect if you want to get two rooms for the whole family. We have blocked off 10 rooms. If you choose to stay here, call the hotel and let them know that it is for the Von Eime Wedding. Blocked Rooms Left 1/25: 10

Check out the Airbnb's in the area! If you're traveling with a large family, want to partner with other families and split the cost, or just want a more home-like feel, this is a great option. This is a less expensive alternative to some hotels in the area, though you might have to get a rental car because Airbnb's near the resort are selling out quickly!
