Fan of the show American Pickers? Antique Archaeology is tucked away in the historic Mississippi River town of LeClaire, Iowa. It's the birthplace of Buffalo Bill. The two-story former fabrication shop is the home base for the American Pickers Show on the History Channel. It now houses some of our best picks and a new merchandise store. Stop in and poke around. The Buffalo Bill Museum, located in LeClaire, Iowa, is focused on life along the Mississippi River and local history. One exhibit is the Lone Star, a wooden, paddlewheel steam-powered towboat that is housed in a special pier. Local history exhibits include the story of famous people from LeClaire, including American West showman Buffalo Bill Cody, engineer James Buchanan Eads and inventor James Ryan.
Aunt Hattie’s Fanciful Emporium was founded in 2009 in the heart of the historic downtown area of Le Claire, Iowa.
