Kyle and Holly were both living in Boston when Kyle's sister, Gabby, texted both of them out of the blue. Gabby and Holly attended Colorado College together, and share a passion for environmental science and policy. Gabby suggested that Holly meet Kyle, and said the same to Kyle. She told the duo that she thought they might get along well as friends, though little did they know she had another idea in mind for them. Kyle and Holly met at Veggie Galaxy, a vegetarian diner in Cambridge (that is less than half a mile from where Kyle and Holly now live and is one of their favorite restaurants in Boston). Given recent breakups and relationships at the time, Kyle and Holly started out as friends, until one day Kyle told Holly he was moving to Austin, Texas for a new Air Force assignment and wanted to say goodbye to her in person. Holly and Kyle met for coffee to say goodbye and had such a great time that they ended up meeting again... and again... until they fell hard for each other and decided to start their relationship via long distance: Austin and Boston. The rest is history! (Thanks again for introducing us, Gabby!!) PS - Holly and Kyle learned that they actually were at many of the same college parties and events while Kyle was at the Air Force Academy and Holly was at Colorado College, although they did not know each other... long story short, fate was on their side! PSS - Kyle proposed to Holly on February 13, 2021 while they were both doing what they love - skiing! Kyle chose a beautiful spot at the top of a ski slope at Sunday River in Maine.
