Over 80 art galleries line this charming Santa Fe street. Walk down Canyon Road and see the world-class art on display here, which ranges in style from historic Native American art to contemporary painting. In addition to art galleries, you'll also find boutiques and restaurants along Canyon Road. Canyon Road has a very long history, and many of today's galleries and shops are located historic buildings that were once homes, schools, or grocery stores.
Right out side the La Fonda Hotel. Explore the countless art galleries, shops, and flea markets in the area.
This place is so unique and fun! My most highly recommended places for traditional southwest food surrounded by unique folk art. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, wine, or cocktails. I had the best chile relleno and hot toddy here. Holden had the roasted poblano baked mac and cheese and it was his favorite meal all trip!
An extremely interesting and contemporary upscale dinner restaurant. One of my most memorable meals I've had in Santa Fe. This is the place to go if you love tequila/mezcal tastings. Reservation only with 2 seatings: one at 5:00 pm and one at 7:30 pm. Highly recommended if you're willing to try something new and interesting.
If you're already planning to explore Canyon road, I highly recommend you go to Geronimo for an upscale dinner. Geronimo is fine dining in a 1756 adobe home with you classic steakhouse-type food as well as some unique options (they have an amazing wasabi caesar salad first course) and wine pairings available.
