Matron of Honor
Heather likes margaritas, dogs, and hanging out with her favorite sister. As someone who shared a bedroom with Heidi for 17 years, it's safe to say the two of them have done quite a lot together - the good, the bad, and the stupid. Heather graduated law school in 2022 and now practices law in Ohio, making her the smartest Hoden. Her favorite color is gray, but her sense of humor is quite colorful!
Adam Sholl
Best Man
Adam and Joe grew up next-door as cousins only 22 days apart in age (God bless their mothers). Adam is a sucker for a good board game and enjoys roller coasters, camping, and golf in the summertime. He knows his way around a computer and has the best VR setup around! His patience is an essential quality for someone filling the role as Best Man for this wedding.
Kristina Smith
Bridesmaid
Kristina is the sister of the groom and the best person to ask for embarrassing childhood stories about Joe. Kris often arranges our family game nights and is momma to the absolute CUTEST pack of pups. As someone who grew up surrounded by Joe and his antics, we know we can count on Kris to act as our calming presence (and for a good laugh!).
Will Hoden
Groomsman
Will is the brother of the bride and can DEFINITELY bench more than you (just ask him, he'll gladly talk about it). As a three-sport athlete that graduated high school this year, Will is someone that will never back down from a challenge. He may be the butt of our jokes almost 100% of the time, but we know Will is someone we can always count on to have our backs.
Tarah Bowman
Bridesmaid
Tarah is a bridesmaid and has been friends with the couple since the beginning of time. She first met Heidi in preschool, but the two of them truly became best friends in first grade. Tarah was there on our first date in 2012, so obviously she is an essential person to the success of this relationship. We think of Tarah as the life of the party who is always down for game night and drinks at our place. Not to mention, she is a kick-ass nurse who is out here saving lives on the daily!
Cody Frey
Groomsman
Cody is the bride's brother-in-law who plays a central role in all of our party-planning (aka, the "idea guy"). Cody can be quite competitive, especially when it comes to our annual Hoden-Frey Ping Pong Tournament that started in 2020. What can we say, the guy loves winning, but hates losing even more! That is what we love about him. Cody is one of our best friends, and we love that he's part of our big day (and also our DD).
Lauren Hirliman
Bridesmaid
Lauren is a long-time friend of the couple who is also getting married later this year! Lauren grew up with Heather as her best friend, so naturally Heidi fulfilled the role as the tag-along little sister for all of their sleepovers. Lauren's sense of humor and ability to laugh at almost everything has kept our friendship strong over the years. She moved away for college in 2015 and we've been mad at her ever since. Just kidding! We love Lauren and are so happy that she is part of our big day.
Evan Arcadipane
Groomsman
Evan went to school with the couple and played the trumpet in the band with Joe, but the two of them have been friends for many years. Their shared hobbies include gaming, shooting guns, and building computers. Evan's determination and eagerness to learn have served him well in his career as a U.S. Navy Nuclear Machinist Mate. Evan lives in Virginia with his wife and son, so we are overjoyed that they can make the trip to be here for our day!
Jess Lachner
Bridesmaid
Jess may be the shortest person in our wedding party, but she is also the one with the biggest heart! Jess and Heidi became close while working at the movie theater together in high school, and have been good friends ever since. Jess is a hardworking country-gal that enjoys a good breakfast date and knows all of the words to most of your favorite Disney songs. We are excited to have Jess join us on wedding day!
Garrett Goldberg
Groomsman
Garrett "Gary" Goldberg is our go-to handyman that we occasionally pay with beer. Joe met Garrett in college and the two of them hit it off by simply being two dudes in the same class. However, Gary quickly became a fast friend when he started to make fun of "Joey" like the rest of us do. Gary is a pretty smart guy, and we know his quick wit will keep all of us laughing on our wedding day, just like every other day.
Shannon Frey
Bridesmaid
We first met Shannon through Cody as part of the Frey crew, but she quickly turned into the best kind of friend - someone who will have shots poured for us at a moment's notice. She is the person we call when we need pet advice, or help moving into our new house (thanks, Shannon & Frey crew!). Shannon doesn't take shit from anyone and knows how to have a good time, which makes her a prized addition to our wedding party.
Ian Eastin
Groomsman
Ian is another member of the Frey crew that we knew we had to have in our wedding party. As a seasoned groomsman, Ian has been in over 15 weddings! With all of that experience, how could we not include him in our own? Joe and Ian have a bit of a "bromance" that formed through their shared sense of humor and love of Bourbon Smash. The two of them also share a birthday, which only further contributes to their unique friendship. Ian definitely knows how to keep the party rolling, and we are looking forward to this on our wedding day!
Alicia Bellardo

Alicia is another bridesmaid that went to school with the couple and is a fearless competitor in our game nights. She is the most humble person for someone who is good at pretty much everything - art, humor, athletics, baking - you name it, Alicia's got it! Her "big sister" nature will definitely come in handy to keep us all on track on the big day. Alicia has been there for us through thick and thin, and we know that will continue into our marriage as well.
Mike Morton
Groomsman
Mike holds the title of the oldest member of our wedding party. But don't let that fool you, he is quite the child-at-heart that loves games - board games, card games, you name it, Mike has it. He possesses one of the most impressive collections of games and other cool stuff that we've ever seen. Mike was first introduced to us by Kristina a few years ago, and his fun-loving personality combined with his calm presence makes him a great asset to our wedding party.
Nicole Cooper

Nicole went to school with the couple and participated in all of the same sports as Heidi growing up - they did quite a lot of carpooling back in the day! Nicole keeps it real and isn't afraid to share her mind, which is how we know she will make a badass lawyer when she graduates law school next year! Her smile lights up a room and her dance moves will certainly light up the dance floor. We are beyond excited to have Nicole as part of our big day.
Alex Milliner

Alex attended school with the couple and has been friends with Joe for many years. The two of them became close through bonding over their shared interests, such as baseball, gaming, and bowling. Alex's competitive nature is balanced by his super chill personality; he is always down to have a good time and isn't picky about how that happens. We know these qualities make Alex a great addition to our wedding party, and we are happy he is joining us for our big day!
Suki & Theo Smith
Furbabies of the Couple
Meet Suki and Theo, our sweet and rambunctious pets! We adopted both Suki and Theo in the fall of 2021. Suki is 2 years old and loves to play with other dogs and snuggle with her parents. Theo, aka "Mister Boy" is our handsome and mischievous kitty that loves to play and knock things off of the counter. We love our furbabies and they are so excited that their humans are finally getting married!
