Maid of Honor
Kasin and I briefly met in high school and then both attended Earlham College. We were both members of the basketball team (& 1000 point club) and quickly formed a bond over our rural Indiana roots.
Bridesmaid
Jessica was a random Facebook roommate I found before starting Duke's nursing program. We quickly became best friends and got each other through nursing school. We adopted our cat named Duke while living together and Jessica would love to show you pictures, just ask!
Bridesmaid
Sophia and I met at Earlham College and played on the basketball team together. She was my roommate my freshman and junior year. Kasin, Sophia, and I take yearly trips all over the country.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay is my cousin, but more like the sister I never had. I can't even begin to count the number of vacations we've taken together and memories we've made. Probably best for Kevin that we don't live closer together, because we love to hunt for a good bargain.
Best Man
Gearhead, daredevil, and goofy. Quite the trifecta for a Best Man. It was not an easy decision, but Jacob's vastly superior public speaking abilities compared to Shy Guy Ry was the determining factor in my selection. As you can see by the handlebar mustache, Jacob doesn't care what people think of him no matter how ridiculous he looks. The perfect criteria for someone giving a Best Man speech.
Groomsman
How to describe a guy who enjoys being behind the scenes and would prefer you not reach out to him at all. Ryan and I didn't meet until we both had no idea where to go or what we were doing at lunch on the first day of 9th grade. Despite the Red Bull shirt, he is a huge fan of Lewis Hamilton, was trying real hard to look cool in this pose at the F1 Grand Prix in Austin last year, and is one of my best friends for reasons I cannot think of.
Groomsman
The first time I met John he was bartending at the frat house as a pledge after chugging a bottle of hot sauce on a dare earlier that day. It was at that moment that I knew he was the type of person willing to do anything for his boys. He is the type of guy who can walk into any room, meet any person or group of people, and immediately get along with them. Like a dog, he's the best indicator as to whether or not we will get along. If you can't get along with John, then you are not my type of person.
Groomsman
Forrest and I started to hang out a lot more when John and I lived together Junior year of college. He was essentially the 3rd roommate who did not pay rent. Forrest was not homeless by any means but always preferred our couch over sleeping in his own bed. This was when we became boys. Post-undergrad life, Forrest moved to and currently lives in Steamboat Springs, which is how I am able to afford annual ski trips to Colorado. I have lots of embarrassing photos of him, but this photo is so hard it needs to be shown for the world to see.
