Maid of Honor
Spechel and Leah met in the 6th grade and they've been glued to each other since. Spechel calls Leah her "honey", Spechel's mom calls Leah her "Ride or Die" and her dad called Leah his "Soldier Girl." So now Mitch needs to figure out what he's calling her because when Mitch marries Spechel, Leah comes with the package.
Demetria Moore

Spechel and Demetria (also called honey) go way back to '97 (as she loves to say) and they've been a part of each other's lives since then. Through high school, college, careers, and love, these two have always shared a love for makeup, hair, and fashion. Demetria taught Spechel everything she knows about makeup.
Gabriel Graham

"Hey Honneeeyyyy." As Gabby loves to say. Yes, she's also a part of the "Honey" gang. Gabby and Spechel's friendship began in the fourth grade. The two quickly bonded over dance and cheerleading and eventually grew a bond that has lasted for almost 20 years.
Antoinette Bullard

Spechel met Antoinette through a mutual friend in college and quickly decided to change her name to "Peggy." She has called her that ever since, to the point that her mother thought that was her real name. They became close friends through college and beyond, celebrating life's moments and transitions together.

Whenever Spechel is down to have a good time she knows exactly who to call. Spechel and Shay met five years ago, but it feels like a lifelong friendship. These two have always been able to have fun and celebrate each other, whether it was trying new restaurants or traveling to the zoo or new cities/states.
Jamequia Clark

Spechel and Jamequia DEFINITELY have some stories to tell (ask us to share later). Their almost 11-year friendship has given them enough memories to last a lifetime. Spechel can always count on Jamequia to be there by her side for anything.

Spechel often calls Laquanta her "God Mother" because from day one, Laquanta has taken Spechel under her wing and treated her with love. Spechel couldn't see her big day without Laquanta.

Kiara and Spechel met in college and have been friends ever since. Kiara and Spechel's friendship has always thrived on their ability to be completely transparent and honest without each other. Spechel has trusted Kiara with a lot, so of course, she's trusting her to help her get through her big day.

Jarred is Brad's "Day 1". They have been friends for over 20 years and counting. Brad is the Godfather to both Jarred's son (Jordyn) & daughter (Makayla)

Gary and Brad are fraternity brothers who pledged together in the Spring of 2011. They maintain a strong relationship through their journey pursuing Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Ryan Davis

"Hey man, You be fresh. Where do you shop?" was the question that Brad asked Ryan in 2008 on the way to class at UNCG. They have been close ever since. The lightskin - Darkskin brotha connection
Maurece Lewis

Brad met Maurece in 2016 at a Fraternity picnic in Durham. Brad recalled seeing Maurece or "Moe" at his home church, while Moe was still a student at Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, NC. Another lifelong fraternal bond.
LeShaun Jenkins

LeShaun is the "big brother" in age to Brad but also his brother in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. They have been close for about 4-5 years now and blood couldn't make them any closer

Brad couldn't be the ACE (front) of his line without his TAIL (end) Chris Green. They also pledged together in the Spring of 2011 to become brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Chris is the 252 (Wilson) partner with Brad on his line as well as his dance/turn up partner as well
