FAQs

Weddings are full of excitement and questions, we know. Let us clear some of these up for you. If you have a question not listed on this page please send an email to wootenmitchellwedding@gmail.com for assistance.
Question

What COVID precautions are being implemented?

Answer

We want our guests to be as safe as possible and we are monitoring city and state mandates. We are asking that all guests wear masks regardless of vaccination status. Guests must provide proof of vaccination before entry. If you are not fully vaccinated we are asking that you show proof of a negative COVID test. We will also be checking temperatures upon entry to the venue and hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the venue.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We know life gets busy and we forget some tasks along the way. But to ensure that you have a seat on our big day, please RSVP by December 1.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invite includes a "guest" or "plus one", then please bring whoever you would like. If not, we would love to celebrate with only you.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please make your special request! We would love for you to be able to enjoy your meal like everyone else. When you RSVP, please include any dietary restrictions you have!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Although we love the little ones, we are having an ADULT only ceremony and reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To make the most of our time, we ask that all guests be in their seats by 3 PM. If you happen to be late, you will, unfortunately, have to miss the ceremony but you will be granted entry once the cocktail hour begins.

Question

I am unable to attend. Will there be a live streaming of the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we are currently working on having a live stream of the ceremony. Please continue to check the website for updates.

Question

Can we take photos and post on social media during the ceremony?

Answer

You all know we love Instagram and Facebook, but we are asking all guests to refrain from posting photos or videos during the ceremony. When the cocktail hour and reception begin, we encourage you to take and share as many photos as you want especially when using our backdrop and hashtag #Hitched2Mitch.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue is located in Downtown Clayton. Two parking lots are located on the premises and there will be street parking available.
