Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you!

Lake Johnson

4601 Avent Ferry Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606

We love going on walks around the lake and running its trails! We enjoy paddle boarding and watching the most beautiful sunrises/sunsets at the lake, as well. Whenever we need a quick place to go to be outside, we head to Lake Johnson!

Goodberry's Frozen Custard

2042 Clark Ave, Raleigh NC, NC 27605

You can't go wrong with this place!! Goodberry's is a Raleigh classic and our go-to spot for a sweet treat and ice cream date:))

Cameron Village

2034 Cameron St, Raleigh, NC 27607

One of our favorite spots for a bite to eat, a good read, or a new outfit! Cameron Village has a variety of great restaurants, boutiques, men's stores, and a library! We have spent many lunch dates and study dates here!

North Carolina State University

Raleigh, NC 27695

Ashley's Alma Mater! We love walking around NC State's beautiful campus. Our favorite spots are the Court of Carolina and Poe Hall, of course! A few other iconic spots to check out include the Bell Tower, the Free Expression Tunnel, Wolf Plaza, and the Brickyard. And be sure you stop by Talley for some Howling Cow ice cream!

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church

2718 Overbrook Dr, Raleigh, NC 27608

Our Lady of Lourdes is where we attend weekly Mass. They offer daily Mass at 8:30 am and Sunday Mass at 9:00 am and 11:30 am. It has the most beautiful Marian Garden and our favorite prayer spot in their perpetual adoration chapel.

State Farmers Market

1201 Agriculture St, Raleigh, NC 27603

This is one of the most happening places in Raleigh each weekend during the summer! We definitely recommend checking this huge market out and maybe even grabbing breakfast or lunch at their farm-to-table restaurant!

North Carolina Museum of Art

2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607

The art museum is a favorite of ours on a rainy day! We also enjoy walking/running the museum's nature trails or having a picnic in its beautiful outdoor park. Its art collection features many different classical and contemporary paintings and sculptures throughout the building and outdoors. And you can't leave out the musical swings!!!

Downtown Raleigh

Yes, I know this is vague... but! there are too many spots downtown to recommend. So, here's a list! La Santa Modern Mexican (for a great marg), Taverna Agora Greek Kitchen, Morgan Street Food Hall, Lily's Pizza, Wye Hill Kitchen and Brewing (beautiful Raleigh landscape), Raleigh Beer Garden (over 350 beers on tap), Transfer Co Food Hall, Whiskey Kitchen, Boxcar Bar + Arcade, Barcelona Wine Bar and Oak Steakhouse!

For all the days along the way
