Our ceremony will be held at the Catholic Church located in Greenville, NY at 1:00 pm with the cocktail hour located at Fairways of Halfmoon to start at 5:30 pm with the reception to follow at 6:30 pm. Nicholas and I specifically chose the times for everyone to be able to check in to their hotel, if you decide to stay there, and allow for you time to relax before dinner and dancing! We plan to take any photographs that need to be taken before the cocktail hour so we will be able to join you and spend more time with our amazing guests!
Think semi-formal attire! Our ceremony will be at a Catholic Church, so please make sure you are comfortable with your choice of style in this setting. The reception is where you can let loose a little and enjoy the party! We want you to feel comfortable enough to kick off your shoes (and maybe put on slippers), unbutton the too tight top button and dance the night away. *Note there will be a fire in the courtyard area... and maybe some s'mores! So make sure you can handle the cold fall night!
Even though Nicholas and I will be happy to take photos with you after the events have completed, we ask that during the ceremony you follow the "unplugged" rule! For those of you who do not know what this is, this is when all guests put their electronic devices away and enjoy your time with those around you. We have hired an amazing photographer (that some of you may know), and we want the photographer to capture what will be some of our greatest memories without the disruptions of others trying to get their own best photos (even though those iPhones do take some great pics). We promise we will share these amazing photos with you once we have received them ourselves and are more than happy to take photos at the end.
Even though Nicholas and I both love children, we want everyone to enjoy their night and help us celebrate! For those who are coming from out of town we understand that it may be difficult to find a baby sitter and your children are welcomed to join, please let us know on the RSVP.
If your invitation includes a "And Guest" or a "Plus One", please feel free to bring your person of choice that is willing to have a good time and make the event that much more enjoyable!
