Happily Ever After

Bethany and DJ met about 8 years ago as trumpet players in the Minnesota Freedom Band, but they didn't really know each other. Years later, Bethany accepted the job of Artistic Director of the Minnesota Freedom Band, and eventually the two of them starting talking because DJ let her borrow his baton after she accidentally broke hers at school! Bethany and DJ share a lot of the same music interests, so it was no surprise that they ran into each other at a Snarky Puppy show in March of 2023. This was the night that DJ knew that he had to have her. DJ starting bringing Bethany cakes, flowers, and spoons, they would text now and then, and then finally one night after a hangout session after rehearsal, he confessed he liked her and asked her on a date. She said yes... ... and six months later... ... she said yes, again <3
