Silky sand and crystal clear waters as well as rocky coves, the island offers a big variety of landscapes and settings, to accommodate all tastes and moods. Some are organised with sun beds and beach bars, others offer great facilities and sea sports opportunities, while others are secluded, totally unspoiled and untouched. Monastiri: Probably one of our favourites, Monastiri is a small rocky bay on the northern side of Paros. The beach bar is one of the best on the island, the energy is relaxing yet vibrant and it is perfect if you wish to spend all day on the beach! Kolymbithres: One of the most popular of the island because of its unique landscape with shallow turquoise waters and the rocky lunar scenery. Known for its smooth, eroded granite rocks and small, sandy coves created in between them, it is a beach worth visiting.
Chrysi Akti/Golden beach: Deep blue waters, golden sand and a beautiful Cycladic landscape, this is a beach that we highly recommend. This is also the beach for surf and watersport lovers. Also ideal if you are planning on enjoying a whole day at the beach as the facilities, bars and restaurants provide anything you might need. Pounda: One of the most popular amongst younger ages and vibrant beaches of Paros. Crystal blue waters and golden sand combined with beach bars and loud music, it is a great choice if you are looking to have some cocktails and enjoy a party-vibe energy/ experience! Lageris: This is for those who wish to combine a hike with a swim and also are nature/ adventure lovers. It is not very easily accessible but once you're there you are rewarded with calm turquoise water, fine white sand as well as beautiful dunes. Logaras: Logaras is also a nice option and popular for its azure waters and the sandy coastline.
One of our favorites – a must go for sunset! If you are looking for a quieter setting overlooking the sea, Siparos is located a 5-10 minute drive from the center of Naoussa on Xifara beach. We recommend ordering fresh fish and getting it prepared in one of their four “signature” styles. The cheese pies with honey and sesame are also a must!
A hidden secret tucked away a quiet little alley away from the buzz of the island’s cosmopolitan town of Naoussa, this restaurant features Greek homemade food. You may want to reserve your table ahead of your trip.
This group of classic Greek seaside restaurants are right in the center of all of the action of Naoussa’s port. The town comes alive at night, and any of these restaurants are the perfect place to soak it all in while eating traditional Aegean cuisine. These are the most popular spots in Paros so be sure to make a reservation or put your name down early!
Delicious cocktails, friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere make this bar a fun one to grab a drink before you head to dinner.
A hip cocktail bar tucked away in the streets of Paros. Post a quick Instagram of yourself under Paros’ iconic bougainvillea and then sit here for a funky cocktail and some good old fashioned people-watching.
This spot is a classic in Naoussa, so come here for high quality drinks and even higher quality waterfront views.
The town of Naoussa is the heart of Paros. We want to show it to you at the best time of day – sunset. Please join us for drinks and heavy appetizers. You should come and go as you please as dinner is on your own. We recommend grabbing a group of friends and exploring the many great restaurants of Naoussa either before or after (depending on your bedtime)!
If it's good enough for Tom Hanks, it's good enough for you. Take a trip to his home away from home (and a hard tie for us on favorite island). Take the short ferry from Aliki or Parikia to the neighboring chic island of Antiparos. Small and very picturesque, you will love the whitewashed architecture and the front yards adorned with bougainvillea. If you are feeling more adventurous, you can take an excursion to explore the Caves of Antiparos by boat. Only 10 minutes by ferry from Pounda or about 30 minutes from Parikia, Antiparos is easily accesible and ideal for a day trip. The ferries are very frequent so you do not need to plan ahead. Enjoy a dive in Soros beach and a nice sunset walk, shopping as well as dinner at the very picturesque and inviting town of Antiparos (5’ walk by the port). We highly recommend planning a day in Antiparos.
