Are Covid-19 Vaccinations required?

Answer

Knowing that all of our loved ones will be traveling near and far for the wedding, it is a priority of ours to make sure everyone has a fun and safe weekend. With this in mind and in the interest of public health we are requiring all guests be fully vaccinated. This means all guests must have received a full schedule of the COVID-19 vaccine. Receiving a booster is highly recommended, however it is not required. Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding is intended for adults (16 and over). We hope that the advance notice allows time to make arrangements and you are still able to attend.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that no pictures or video be taken during the ceremony as we want you to enjoy and be present in the moment. Our photographers' photos will be sent out as soon as they become available. You are welcome to take photos and videos at the reception! Our only request is that you include the hashtag #herestoheilmann so we can keep track of everyone's great pictures.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both be at the Gardens at Great Oaks in Roswell, Georgia. 786 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075

Where should I park?

Answer

There is free parking in the Roswell United Methodist Church behind the Gardens at Great Oaks. 814 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Please be aware that the ceremony will be held outside on grass. Appropriate footwear is suggested.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting the ceremony will be in the garden with a back up rain plan. The reception will have indoor/outdoor as well as a covered canopy.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

November weather in Roswell can be chaotic but as the ceremony and reception are outdoors. We suggest bringing a jacket or something warm that can be easily removed. Please check the weather forecast as the event date approaches.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures. Guests will be directed to the cocktail hour location where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages followed by dinner and dancing!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. In this time of Covid we understand that last minute changes may occur. If you have already RSVP'd 'yes' and need to make a change please contact us at herestoheilmann@gmail.com.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

A hotel block has been set up for the DoubleTree by Hilton in Roswell. If you click the Travel tab on the navigation bar you will find links and information regarding the accommodations we have prepared for our guests.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 12th. You can RSVP online by going to the RSVP tab on the navigation bar.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

There is a free shuttle to and from the venue for our guests staying at the Roswell Hilton Doubletree.
