No one knows for sure when the sparks flew, but these are the facts that we do know. Christopher and Meghan met in kindergarten, they often snuck away together to attend speech therapy for their shared stutter (which is still up for debate if that’s fixed, y’all should hear them have conversation together), their parents forced them to hang out at PTA events throughout elementary school, and Meghan wrote love notes in Christopher’s yearbook. Meghan and Christopher went their separate ways attending different middle schools, and their unknown love for each other was thought to be lost forever. That was until 2013 when they met again through mutual friends in high school. When asked about who pursued who first at that point, neither of them can remember. They only remember instantly being attracted to one another followed by several months of back and forth cringy childish flirting. Much to their surprise they found out they had lived down the street from one another the whole time and had no idea. They officially started dating 1/12/2014. Little did they know that would be the start of something bigger than just a high school love affair. They would attend 4 high school dances together, become each other’s first loves, attend different colleges, complete a 4 year long distance relationship, go on several family vacations together, have their college graduation cancelled because of COVID-19, but come full circle to celebrate their college graduation in the same town they met in. They currently live in Fort Worth, Texas. Christopher works at Lockheed Martin as an Aerospace Engineer and Meghan works at Texas Health Methodist Hospital as a Physical Therapy Technician. In their 2 years living there they have lived in 2 apartments, traveled extensively, adopted a fur-baby, and have tried their hardest to convince all their friends to move near them. After 8 years together, we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you on 11/12/22.

The number 12 holds significance to Meghan and Christopher. Getting married on a 12th was the only hard rule they both had. They started dating 1/12 before realizing that Meghan's birthday was on 9/12 and Christopher's birthday was 10/12. Since then, the number seems to constantly reappear in their life. Their adopted puppy's birthday turned out to be 2/12 and to top things off they were engaged in the 12th month.
