Balboa Park
This is where Kyle and I had our first date. There are tons of beautiful sites - the Organ Pavillion, Botanical Gardens, Japanese Friendship Gardens, and countless museums, that make Balboa Park a San Diego (and personal) favorite! 10/10 recommend if you have the time and have never been before!
Queen Califia's Magical Circle
We have never been here before, as they are only open two Saturday's a month, but it has been on our list of local places to visit. Niki de Saint Phalle's Queen Califia's Magical Circle is a beautiful mosaic sculpture garden that looks like a neat place to check out...and it happens to be open the day after our wedding, Saturday February 8th, from 9am-2pm. This would be a fun site to see before the softball game and picnic on Saturday!
Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Escondido

Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve
Great for hiking and picnicking!
Blue Sky Ecological Reserve
Great for hiking, tons of trails to choose from, including more intermediate/advanced hiking (think hills!)
Cordiano Winery
We have never been here, but you can't go wrong with some wine in hand and beautiful views!
