Check out this architectural gem located in downtown Minneapolis, near the Stone Arch Bridge and Mill City Museum. You don't need theater tickets to check out the building. Once inside, you can take the escalators to the endless bridge and see panoramic views of the Mississippi River. You can also take the elevators up to the Amber Box for almost 360 degree views of the area.
The Walker Art Center Sculpture Garden is free. If you go, the iconic Spoon & Cherry is a must see! Even kids will enjoy running around and seeing the larger than life sculptures. The Walker Art Museum, a modern art museum, is located nearby.
Interstate State Park is one of Jonathan and Hennah's favorite parks! This park offers stunning views of the Midwest landscape. We recommend parking on the Minnesota side to check out the glacial potholes. After that, view Taylors Falls on the St. Croix River, then walk across the bridge to Wisconsin for hiking.
