Luke & Heather Arrive in Kauai 4pm

We have some fun things planned Thursday and Friday, with the wedding on Saturday. The rest of the time in Kauai, HI is on your own. Please do not feel like you have to spend all of your time with us, as we want this to be a special vacation to explore on your own, while the bride and groom are busy getting ready for their big day! Luke and Heather will be flying out to Honolulu the late morning of Sunday, 5/19, the day after their wedding to spend time with family friends for a day and a half before they fly out to Australia on Tuesday, 5/21 for their honeymoon.

*OPTIONAL* Smith's Family Luau in Kapaa Kauai

5:00 pm - 8:45 pm

Come and enjoy a fun night on Thursday, 5/16 at the Smith's Family Luau, rated Kauai's number 1 Luau on the island! Tickets are $140 a piece and optional.

Located on Kauai's East Coast in the Wailua Marina State Park, 5 1/2 miles North of the Lihue Airport on HWY 56, right alongside the Wailua River. You will most likely find a spot in the parking lot and walk along the garden to get to the luau.

Dinner Boat Cruise

3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Casual. Please bring a light coat as it may get cooler towards the end of the sail. Dress accordingly and plan on getting wet while on the boat. :)

**FOR THOSE WHO RSVP'D** We are planning to have a dinner boat cruise on Friday, 5/17/2024. Dinner Sail will leave Captain Andy's-Port Allen Marina Center at 3PM. Please arrive 45 minutes early for check-in! This means no later than 2:15PM. **Please note it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to Eleele from Kaloa, so please plan accordingly because I've read traffic on Kauai's small island can get congested from time to time.** We will be on the Star Na Pali Sunset Dinner Sail. This is on a 65' Star Class Luxury Catamaran. Dinner will be Filet Mignon and Jumbo Shrimp with a salad and dessert. Drinks will also be included. (If this menu does not meet your dietary requirement, you are allowed to bring food on board. We have noted pescatarian and vegetarian options for friends who have notified us in advance). **This is a barefoot sail. No shoes are allowed while on board. If you must have shoes due to medical reasonings, please wear soft soled shoes.**

Wedding

4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

This event is semi-formal. Please dress in your Hawaiian best! **Shipwreck Beach is a "headline performer." this is it, folks: the most epic, the most beautiful, and probably the most visited of all Kauai beaches.**

Please meet in the parking lot of Shipwreck Beach at 3:45 PM. The wedding coordinator, minister, photographer & videographer will be there to meet us as we face the ocean to the right side of the parking lot in the grass area with palm trees. They will guide us to the wedding ceremony site. The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM and should last no longer than 15-20 minutes. Luke and Heather have arranged photographers and a drone video until 5:30 PM. Once your photos have been taken with the bride and groom, please feel free to head over to the Grand Hyatt Hotel where dinner will start around 6:00 PM. ***We highly suggest you get to know your surroundings and find the location of the wedding before the big day.***
