Maid of Honor
Wendy, of course you knew you'd be my Maid of Honor. I couldn't have it any other way. Ever since our very first "adventure" in Charlotte, I'd knew we would be friends for ever: we simply compliment each other like no other. Your thirst for knowledge, kindness, determination, and love for life is something I've admired about you for over a decade. We've made a ton of memories and I am so thankful you're an integral part in this chapter of our lives. Thank you for always being supportive and by my side through thick and thin. I love you!
Bridesmaid
Ronnie!! I don't know where to begin...you are the most goal orientated, determined, dependable, quick witted, and loving person I know. You always know what to say to make me laugh whether it's for shock value or just plain cracking jokes (" West side!"). You've helped both John and I in everything you can think of whether it was practicing interviewing for a new job ("Bish gon' ask me") to watching your goddaughter at the last minute. You've been there for us in both good and bad times, and we are SO thankful for you. We are all blessed to have you in our lives!! Thank you so much for all you do, we love you!
Bridesmaid
Jazzy, you are the most gentle, encouraging, and calming person I know. You've always been super supportive of John and I since the beginning. We are so thankful to Ronnie for introducing us to you! We've made some memorable moments together, from Vegas to celebrating in the party buses. Let it be known that even though you're normally one of the calmest people in the room, doesn't mean you don't know how to party! Thank you for your continueous love and support!
Bridesmaid
Thank you for welcoming us with open arms from the very beginning, we are thankful to Aaron for introducing us to you way back when we had that double date at the Hibachi restaurant. Your laugh, energy, and zest for life is truly contagious! Your love for family, friends, and living life to the fullest is something to aspire to duplicate. Thank you for always bringing the party wherever you go and thank you for making our lives more of a party whenever we get together!
Bridesmaid
Nikki, you are the best sister-in-law I could ever ask for. My first memory of you was at the Fashion Show party John had invited me to attend. You are as beautiful now as you were then. You accepted me into your family over a decade ago and our bond has gotten stronger over the years. Even though we don't see each other that often, just know that my love for you never fades. You bring a fun, easy going energy into whatever room you enter. Thank you for being supportive all these years and more importantly, thank you for being a part of this big moment!
Bridesmaid
Menet, you've been there since the very beginning. From hanging out with "the crew" to going to Ken & Nancy's house for Fourth of July and everything in between. You made sure my mom and dad were in good shape whenever you could stop by and that is something I truly am thankful for to this day. You've always been supportive, honest, and mindful when it comes to our relationship. Your love for our daughter is truly appreciated and even though we don't see each other as often as we like, the love never fades. Thank you for your continuous support and love after all these years!
Bridesmaid
Crystal, you are one of the most creative, passionate and caring people we know. Thank you for always coming to show our family support, even though it could involve a long drive lol. Your dependability is truly appreciated. Thank you for being such a good Battle Buddy to John back then and even more so now. The family you guys had formed through the Army has blossomed into little families on your own that can grow up together and form their own bonds. Thank you for all your love and support all these years.
Bridesmaid
Thank you Amber for showing you love and support to us all these years. You’ve been there for the good times and bad times. You maybe quiet but your presence is surely felt. You are one of the nicest, most low key person we know but your support is consistent (much like those light, side hugs John hates lol). Thank you for all the love and support through out the years, it is truly appreciated.
Best Man
Best man Best man yea that’s me! From way back when we used to meet up at Shaq house to ball, to later that night cooking DJ’s “Dexter” Northface, to fake beefing over who grad class was the most litty, to us hopping on the metro and turning the blue line into the CFE or The LePearle, to right now. It’s honestly too many memories to count. You always stayed solid and loyal throughout the years and I’m proud to call you my best man.
Groomsman
Big bro, you already know how we been rocking. To keep it playa I wish I could have more than one best man. Til this day I still have yet to meet a friend of your caliber bro. Always was a natural born leader to the neighborhood fellas and always stood 10 toes down when it counted. From dogging you in pool to, ohhhh you gotta 10 piece to now, you remain somebody I look up to and you definitely had a hand in the man I am today.
Groomsman
Man where do I start. Hmm? From where you had a crush on Chris Brown in 7th grade lol, or when we used to step off from the bus stop in the morning to smoke, or to when we used to hit the crispiest of column lefts in drill competitions in the ROTC, or when we used to be bouncing crazy in Largo GoGo’s . Original bestie, when it was cool to say that. You and I were 2 peas in a pod, if you didn’t see us with each other something was wrong. I’m too proud of the man you’ve become and ultimately living your truth!
Groomsman
Chris breezy 2.0, Issa fact you hate when I say that but I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t. Let’s take it back to where we used leave the Ville to go to Bowie Rec, boy that was a hike for some 16 year olds! On that court I used to put you on skates and then rise up like some buttermilk biscuits 🤾🏽♂️. Lol I’m bluffing, but we had real times bro, from having the same army recruiter to delivering endless boxes while at FedEx. Knowing where you’ve been and where you are today I’m super proud of the man you’ve manifested into!
Groomsman
Big Brodie and I say that proudly! We come from a long history of pointless arguments and meaningful debates. I knew you was real when you used to really look out for me and the rest of the younger crew back when. Always made sure we made it home safe, covered our expenses when we ain’t have it, scooped us up from school when we missed the bus. You always was a stand up individual and spoke on your beliefs. I respect your character bro.
Groomswoman
Whether I needed a ear to listen to me, person to laugh with til my stomach hurt or somebody to bounce ideas off of, You would be my go to. From elementary when you was BOUJWAH and wore ap, to when your sister use to pull up on us in her little red civis d. If I had to count the endless memories I’d be here all day. with the humble, hilarious, ambitious, and confident person you are today, to say anything less just wouldn’t be real. Late night corner to Chrysler discussions with My Last Words lightly vibing in the car always remind me that we forever solid.
Groomsman
Bro when you asked me to be a groomsman I was in shock and honored to say the least and you acted like I should’ve known I this already, You knew we was family before I did! I felt ashamed for awhile for not being as genuine to you as you to me but I knew I had a responsibility and had to step up and for that I’m forever grateful. The 1015th made us battles, our jokes got us smoked, and our PT test did not define us lol!
Groomsman
Little bro! Every time I think about anytime involving you I busy out in tears of laughter! Bro I thought I was funny but NO, you funny as hell! It don’t matter if you really 5 ft 7 inch and 174 lbs soaking wet, in real life you swear you 6 ft 4 inch 245 lbs and you dare somebody to prove you wrong. Ever since you stepped foot into the 1015th trying flex them two itty bitty tats we been roll dogs ever since. Even though I wasn’t one of your groomsmen smh, your loyalty and train to go mentality is forever appreciated!
