There is parking on Marquette's campus in the visitor lot on 13th and Wells St. There is a paid visitor parking lot here. An additional lot is found on Wisconsin and 16th St. Please note it is a few blocks from campus so please plan accordingly. We find street parking on 11th St and on Clybourn St just south of the law building.
There is ample parking at the Western Lake Golf Course. Please note that they ask to have all cars removed by the end of the night. Please get home safely and plan ahead if need be.
We recommend driving between due to the couple of hour gap between the ceremony and the reception that we will be taking photos with, this gives you time to stop for a pint, to walk around Marquette's beautiful campus, or make your way to the beaches of lake Michigan and enjoy the views. We are recommending most people to stay in the suburbs of Milwaukee (Brookfield, Waukesha, Pewaukee, Delafield, etc.) as it makes for the shortest drive at the end of the night.
Wisconsin fall weather can either be hot and humid, or cold and humid. While we anticipate it to be slightly warmer, it has been known to get cold on occasion around this time. Please make sure you hydrate appropriately.
The bar will be fully open during cocktail hour and we encourage you to enjoy a Wisconsin Old Fashioned. After the cocktail hour ends, the venue will switch to beer, wine, and seltzers for the remainder of the evening. A champagne toast will be provided. Soda, water, and coffee will also be available.
