What time should I arrive?

Answer

The hospitality begins at 10 a.m., and the ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. sharp. Check for traffic ahead of time and be mindful it is Long Island traffic on Labor Day Weekend.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. The bride will be wearing white, and the bridesmaids will be wearing eucalyptus.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

As long weather permits, the ceremony will be outdoor on beach, and the reception will be indoor.

How food and drinks will be served?

Answer

Buffet-style cocktail hour, followed by buffet-style reception. Open bar the whole reception. Please come hungry and thirsty.

What is happening after 4 pm?

Answer

We invited YOU (our close family and friends) to the Crescent Beach Club for an intimate daytime celebration, which ends at 4 pm. The same night, Tommy's parents are hosting a Chinese-style banquet dinner in Brooklyn, for their family and friends. It will be a Fuzhounese/Mandarin-speaking event. If you plan to attend the banquet, please contact us directly. Otherwise, we are so happy to celebrate with you during the day.

Will last name be changing after the wedding?

Answer

Tommy will stay a Chen, Hattie will stay a Zhang. Hattie worked hard to earn her M.D., and now it's Tommy's turn.
