Now Britt knows I have the worst memory so I cannot recall our first interaction but what I do know is that within the first few encounters I knew she would be a part of my life tribe. We have rarely been the type of friends to stay in constant contact with each other BUT when we do talk or hangout its like no time has passed. Brittany has always been honest about herself, her wants, her needs and I always respected and loved her more for it. Me and Eric used to work at the Rec Center at William Paterson and honestly he was one of the people who made that job fun, always clowning around and making us laugh. Somethings never change. Knowing them as individuals them coming together makes so much sense. Both ready to have fun but always about their business. Welcome to the married club <3

I met Britt first, but E-Money is still my man fifty grand. I met Brittany at castaway with my wife and we butted heads (in a good way) immediately. She came out like boom-bap, hi-hat, all in your face and I matched the energy. I met them as a united front at my wedding reception. He kinda caught me off guard like hold up, who is this black brolly, strong neck, silver back gorilla-built dude strolling along in here so casually? We were introduced and I thought “oh he’s so meek and calm”, so I forgot about him. Fast forward a few months and I find myself in Madrid with him on the bromance of a lifetime. We did everything from visit museums and eat tapas to silly testosterone driven competitions (I won all of them). That’s a memory that goes in the highlight reel for sure, love you guys.

I never would’ve imagined that I would meet my best friend at the college I would later transfer to. However, the stars aligned myself and Brittany, the very loud, outspoken member of the Beyhive. The story of how we officially met has no solid foundation. We shared similar interests and would see each other often on campus, provide a friendly gesture such as a smirk or a gentle hello and be on our way. My cousin, Davon, was the middle man in officially introducing us at Spring Jam in 2014. And that is how our story began. Through this friendship I was granted the opportunity to meet Eric, who I would eventually form my own friendship with. He appeared before Brittany at a time where she needed someone to keep her grounded, safe and most importantly happily loved, and he continues to do so
Best Man
Eric and I began to grow close in high school. The combo of playing football and being classmates is where I truly got to know E. Upon many interactions, trips, and venting - I found a brother. I recall Eric told us about Brittany. It wasn’t until a trip to Vegas where I hung-out with her. The weekend alone showed me they were here to stay! Britt and I quickly grew close during our time at work, SHU, & many outings/trips. Britt brings a smile to E’s face that can’t be explained & I’m here for it! When E brought Britt into his life, he gave me a sister! Words can’t express how grateful I am for the two, and I’m glad to be a part of their day. I wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, & great vibes/energy!

So although I started kindergarten with Eric, our main friendship story started (and one can say ended lol) in the 5th grade when I got him a paper clip dispenser as a Secret Santa gift (Blame my African mother😂). Fast forward years later, luckily, we are still friends and he introduces me to the woman he described as “nah yo, this is the one!”. Ever since I’ve met Brittany, she’s been such a light and kind person that’s always down to turn up. Eric and Brittany’s love is so natural and deep and I am so pleased to be a part of their big day!!! Let the activities begin!!!

I met Brit for the first time on a Willy P basketball court. It was one of those situations where you’ve heard a lot about someone but never met them; and what better way is there to get to know someone by playing against them in basketball? I’m sure she heard about me too because when she saw me, she pointed and whispered something in Eric’s ear. Knowing her and Eric, she probably said ‘hey is that the Joe Heathen.’ I ended up playing against the couple and the more amazing part is that she improved Eric’s mediocre game. That’s when I knew that she was meant for him. Sometimes having the right person around can make you better. As for Eric, we really became friends when we went to Willy P. It wasn’t until college, where our friendship became a brotherhood.

I have known Brittany since 2013. We met through our mutual friend Chante at William Paterson University. From the moment I met Brittany we instantly clicked because of her amazing people person personality. Our relationship grew from college parties, girls nights, and work shifts at Applebee’s to double dates with our now future husbands. I was introduced to Eric on our first double date to New York City to see the Christmas Tree. When I met Eric he was so down to earth and friendly which made sense why Brittany and Eric meshed so well. I am so excited and honored to be apart of this union because they are truly a power couple and an inspiration to everyone they meet and who are in their inner circle.

Eric & I met in middle school at WOK. I remember my mom gave him a car ride home from 8th grade social. Ever since then, we’ve shared countless memories in school and on the football field. My favorite memory of us growing up is going to McDonalds after football practice or games and ordering the bare minimum because we were broke. We graduated from Hillside High School in 2010 and Eric moved on to Willy P. There he was hyped about a girl playing on the basketball team and wanted us to go see her play. I was very impressed by her basketball skills and became more impressed along the years as she continues to make Eric the happiest man.

I met Brittany when I transferred to William Paterson. My brother and I were playing basketball in the gym and I looked over at the girls basketball team, they were playing a pickup game and I said to my brother, “yo, I want to play with them can you go over there and ask them if they need another player?” My brother walked over to Brittany and told her that his sister plays and wants to join, she said “sure”. When I walked over there, she asked me my name and I told her “it’s Sadi” and she goes “How do you spell that?” I say, “S-A-D-I” and she goes, “Oh okay! Hey, Say-Dee!” Ever since then Britt has been the annoying little sister I’ve always wanted. Fast forward one year, I met Eric at the gym through Britt. Since she introduced us I would tell her I think he’s the perfect guy for you.

In this day and age, it’s rare that you can brag about having a friendship that’s lasted over a decade let alone two. I always looked at Eric as my brother, and Brittany is the sister I never knew I needed. The fact that I have the both of them in my life, is a blessing anyone would be thankful for. The moment I knew Eric was in love was when he invited me to come to one of Brit’s games. I was always sure Eric would turn out pretty good in life, but I guess when you have a Brittany Nicole Oleka good just ain’t gonna cut it. Eric, Brit, the strength of your love and admiration for another is undeniable and unquestionable. If you ever need confirmation on that, just look at the people that your surrounded by and know that we’re like moths to a flame. The flame that will never die.

My first time meeting Britt was when I was 15, my sophomore year of high school. I remember Eric was excited about her, always talking about this new girl that he met at school and how she was so beautiful. I couldn’t wait to meet her myself. When I met Brittany, the first thing I thought was, wow this girl has a lot of energy LOL. I also thought she was very goal oriented and that she was the type of women who would never settle for less. Brittany and Eric are the perfect match, they balance each other out in various ways. Brittany has been a great influence in my life, from seeing her work ethic, the way she handles things, and being and overall great person. I wish nothing but the best for them in the future and I can’t wait to be an auntie!!! PERIODTT

I met my brother in 1992. I always find it funny that my parents gave him and my sister different last names lol. Anyway, my brother has always been a rebel and always willing to speak his mind. He actually convinced me to move out of Jersey to live my life. He’s a good lad and I’m proud to be his brother. I met Brittany sometime after 2015. I knew Brittany was the one for Eric due to her personality and demeanor. She’s basically my sister from another mother. I’m glad that she’s officially part of the family. I wish them the best!

The bride to be, Brittany and I met each other at our undergrad college, William Paterson University. Our first encounter was us sitting in the library talking about school, goals, and life. We clicked instantly and haven’t left each other side since 2013. Our friendship has blossomed over the years into a sisterhood that I am truly thankful for and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Brittany is that sister who I can go to for anything, and I am beyond honored that she asked me to be part of her big day! Brittany and Eric are the epitome of true love! Brittany introduced me to Eric when they first started to date in 2015. Eric is the ying to Brittany’s yang. They are truly meant to be! I am so happy for them both to begin their life together as husband and wife.

"First & foremost, I want to congratulate Eric & Brittany on their new joyful Union. Eric is my blood cousin from my father’s side & for as long as I could remember we’ve been celebrating all kinds of family functions together & counting. Before I met Brittany, Eric mentioned great words about her & it was at that moment I realized he found the one. I finally met Brittany at a family function & she was/is full of light/excitement. I’m so delighted to share this experience w/ you guys & can’t wait until the big day! May our higher source continue to provide an abundance of wealth, joy & peace w/in your new union.

I met Britt as a senior when she visited W.P.U for an official visit. She was my recruit. I had to showed her around & I obviously did a good job. I went from being her recruiter to her teammate to her friend to her big sis now to be one of her bridesmaids. With Eric, he was an Athletic Trainers for the Women’s basketball team. He dealt with all my injuries. Trust me, the information tie in together. One day during practices, she approached Nikole & I to ask about a particular “athletic trainer” she said he asked her out on a date. As a good sister would do, we gave her the deet! The information was positive, and we told her Eric was a great guy & should give him a chance. She gave us a look & said, I trust y’all. But one thing the love of bball and sports brought these two together!

I have known Eric his whole life. Our families are very close. We used to spend weekends over our parents’ houses. Watching him grow to the man he is today has been an honor. I met Brittany at a family function. She is a wonderful human being. She has been so supportive of my family and I cannot appreciate her enough. After getting to know her as a person, I knew that these two were made for each other. I love them very much and I am so happy for them. Congratulations!!!!
