Swim with Whale Sharks
6:30 am - 1:30 pm
Attire: swimsuit/wetsuit, snorkel gear, & sun protection
Swimming with Whale sharks. Can you imagine swimming with a 14-meter-long animal? Every year, the largest aggregations of whale sharks in the world are found off the coast of Holbox Island. Whale sharks migrate through the waters around Holbox feeding on the abundant plankton found there. Swimming with whale sharks is a unique and ethereal experience that you won’t easily forget. During the boat trip, you may see turtles, giant manta rays, dolphins, and/or many other species. Cost: $175 per guest 8 Hour Tour 1. MEET: in Luuma restaurant at 6:30 am for tour prep & breakfast 2. SWIM: Swim with Whale Sharks 3. SNORKEL: Cabo Catoche to snorkel the “cuevones” reef with sea turtles, lobsters, squids, octopuses, and different reef fish. 4. SIESTA: Santa Paula Island for laidback beach & ceviche. 6. RETURN: Home to Holbox GUESTS ARE BOOKING WHALE SHARK TOURS ON THURSDAY & FRIDAY.
